The Urban Decay Moondust Palette
The Urban Decay Moondust Palette has gorgeous silver shimmery packaging, with Moondust engraved. The shimmer isn't rough--it feels just like any other plastic palette. I was very hesitant to buy this palette because each shade is less than half the size of a regular eyeshadow, and the $50 is comparably high for an eight shadow palette. However, I kept swatching the shades everytime I saw the palette in store, so I finally caved. I figured I wouldn't use the palette all that often, but I have been finding myself going back to this palette day after day, to add a pop of color in an eye look or simply as an all-over lid shade. The Moondust shadows have a very unique finish. They are shimmery shades, but not in a metallic way. The best way I can describe how they look is wet. The shadows have a dry texture, so I pretty much always apply them with my finger. The pigmentation is great, and uniform across the eight colors. I can also say that the shadows in this palette are consistent with the Moondust single shadows from Urban Decay. I got hooked on the formula with Midnight Cowboy, and now my love continues. Although I think the price should be cut by at least $10, I do really love this palette and honestly would probably purchase the sequel if Urban Decay released one.

The Urban Decay Moondust Eye Shadow in Space Cowboy is a warm champagne nude with a shiny, glittery finish.
Urban Decay’s Moondust Eye Shadows come in the same round compact as the rest of the shadows. The Moondust shadows have a quite interesting texture. Space Cowboy feels smooth and creamy, although the product does not squish down at all when you apply texture. The Moondust line differs from other shimmery shadows in that it gives the lids a super cool wet appearance, which I find super unique. Although Space Cowboy has a decent amount of glitter in it, I rarely experience fallout during application or throughout the day, making it much easier to use than a loose glitter. I love how it looks on the lids, and since the color is so natural, it is super easy to pull off.

The Nyx Liquid Crystal Liner in Crystal Hip is a liquid liner with a clear base and white glitter with multi color reflect.
The Liquid Crystal Liners come in a thin tube and have a brush tip for application. I find that just the right amount comes off on the brush, I don't have to re-dip the brush or wipe off the excess. Crystal Hip gives a pretty look on its own, but I like to use it over an eye shadow to give it more sparkle, or over a dark eyeliner to transform the look. Crystal Hip looks really good over black liner, as you can see in the swatches. Once the liner has dried it doesn't move, but since it's glittery it will flake off if you rub it, although I did not find it to produce fall out throughout the day.
