Price: $4.99 * Buy At: Ulta * Size: 0.27 fl oz / 8 mL The Nyx Butter Gloss in Devil's Food Cake is a deep berry gloss with no shimmer or glitter. It comes in a deep red plastic tube and has a typical doe-foot applicator. Devil's Food Cake's formula has a medium thickness and is not sticky at all. I am easily bothered by lip products that feel sticky or goopy and the Nyx Butter Glosses are one of the only lip glosses I think are comfortable on the lips. The application was easy and smooth and can be built up to achieve a darker berry shade. Devil's Food Cake is a wearable color, despite being berry because you can just use a tiny bit for a slight berry tint, or full on for the color in my swatch photos. Devil's Food Cake lasts two or three hours on me before the product wears off, but it does leave a little bit of a stain. XOX

Price: $4.99 * Buy At: Ulta * Size: 1 fl oz / 30 ml The Rimmel Stay Matte Liquid Mousse Foundation is a lightweight foundation in a squeeze tube. I really like the packaging of this foundation. Since it is in a squeeze tube, its easy and quick to apply since you can just squeeze it onto the back of your hand or even apply it straight to the brush. The plastic tube also makes this foundation very travel-friendly. This foundation does have a mousee-y texture and is somewhat thick, but, it blends out really easily and doesn't look cakey or thick on the skin. This foundation barely clings to dry patches, which automatically makes me like it much more since I have dry/combination skin with dry patches on my forehead and nose. It has a medium coverage and covers pores, breakouts and even blackheads really nicely. My skin isn't typically sensitive to products, but this foundation didn't break me out. The shade Light Ivory is a dead on match for my light, cool-toned skin. I am a NW20 in MAC face products. XOX ♥
Price: $2.99 * Buy At: Walgreens * Size: 0.25 oz / 7 g The Well At Walgreens Strawberry Lip Balm is a pink, strawberry scented lip balm in a pink spherical package, similar to the EOS Lip Balms. (See the watermelon version of this lip balm compared to EOS HERE) The lip balm's package is flat on the top and bottom, making it easy to set somewhere without it rolling around. The package is also very plastic-y and cheap feeling. The lip balm applies very smoothly and feels moisturizing and lightweight on the lips. This balm is not a thick or heavy duty moisturizer for the lips. I really like the scent of this lip balm, it's a very sweet strawberry scent, but I don't think that everyone would be a fan of it because it's so sweet. XOX ♥
Price: $3.99 * Buy At: Ulta * Size: 0.14 oz / 4 g Over the past year, I have bought twelve shades of the Nyx Extra Creamy Round Lipstick, and thought it would be helpful to swatch and compare all the shades. If you are unfamiliar with the Nyx Extra Creamy Round Lipsticks, they are very creamy and pigmented, but do not have the longest wear, which is understandable with the cheap price tag. The lightest shades I have are Strawberry Milk ad Narcissus. Both are light, cool-toned pinks with a cream finish. Strawberry Milk is lighter than Narcissus and honestly, it's a hard color to pull off. The next three, Stella, Margarita and Haute Melon appear similar when swatched, but I wouldn't really call them dupes for each other. Stella is a bright yellow-based pink with a cream finish. Margarita is similar in color, but it has more of an orange-red tint and it has a frost finish. Haute Melon also has a cream finish, but is a bright orange-red. You can better see what Haute Melon looks like in my review HERE. The next shades are all peachy, but quite different. Pure Nude is a peachy pink nude with a cream finish, Indian Pink is a peachy neutral pink with a pearly/frosty finish and Pumpkin Pie is a peachy brown nude with a cream finish. The last four shades are all quite similar. I'd say that Tea Rose differs the most, because it is darker and a little more on the neutral side than the other colors. Blush is a neutral rose color with a cream finish. Paparazzi is quite close to Blush, but, Paparazzi is missing the reddish tint that Blush has. Fig is darker than Blush and Paparazzi and is a little more pink. All four shades have a cream finish. XOX ♥
Products & Brushes UsedbareMinerals Ready Foundation in Medium, Sleek iDivine in Showstopper, Wet N Wild Mega Volume Mascara, Nyx Jumbo Eye Pencil in Milk, Maybelline The Rocket Mascara, Wet N Wild Mega Protein Mascara & Sephora Brow Editor in Honey Blonde. I will reference the brushes by number in the how-to. From left to right: Coastal Scents Flat Buffer (1), Elf Brow Comb (2), Coastal Scents Small Angled Liner (3), Coastal Scents Brow (4), Real Techniques Base Shadow Brush (5), Sigma E40 (6), Sigma E37 (7), Coastal Scents Dome Shadow (8), Coastal Scents Dome Blender (9) & Real Techniques Accent Brush (10). Step by Step How ToI started off the look by applying a bright coral shadow all over my crease, using brush 8. It looks a little crazy now, but it will look much better when its blended out. I didn't, but you could apply an eye primer beforehand. Next I applied the lid color which is a shimmery cool grey-blue. I used brush 9 to pack on the color all over my lids. Next I used brush 6 and a small amount of a matte ivory shadow to blend out the coral crease color. Then I used brush 7 to apply a matte navy shadow directly in my crease. The color is pretty similar to the blue-grey on the lids, so it isn't super noticeable, but adds more definition. I also used a shimmery white shadow as a inner corner highlight with brush 8. For under the eyes, I used brush 4 and a mix of the blue-grey and navy shadows to create a soft line about half way on my lower lashline. If you choose to wear this look at night, I would suggest using a black liner in the waterline, but I chose white. Next, I used my finger to apply a small amount of the same shimmery white shadow in the middle of the lid. I finished off the eye look with mascara on the top and bottom lashes. I lightly filled in my brows and also used concealer and a powder foundation to even out my skin.

Price: $6.49 * Buy At: Target * Size: 0.095 oz / 2.7 g The Revlon Colorburst Matte Balm in Complex is a warm peachy nude jumbo lip pencil with a matte finish. The Revlon Matte Balms twist up to reveal more product, so not sharpening is needed. The Revlon Matte Balm in Complex has a very nice and comfortable formula. It's thin and lightweight, but manages to be moisturizing. The Revlon Matte Balms are my favorite product to use when I am looking for a matte lip color. Complex wears for a few hours on me, but does fade pretty evenly. For some reason, to me, Complex doesn't look all that attractive swatched on my arm, but I love it on my lips. It isn't a super noticeable color, but it does give my lips more of a peachy nude color.
Price: $2.99 * Buy At: Walgreens * Size: 0.054 oz / 1.54 g The Jordana Fabuliner in Black is a felt tip style liquid liner with a long, thin tip. It has a plastic lid that snaps on quite securely, so you won't need to worry about it leaking in a bag or wherever you put it. The Jordana Fabuliner applies very smoothly and evenly. As you can see in the swatches, it makes an opaque line without any empty patches. The formula isn't watery and doesn't bleed when you apply it. The Fabuliner is smudge and water resistant, making it a great choice for lining the top lid. With the size and shape of the tip, you can create a small line using the tip, or a thicker line using the side. The Fabuliner is a great pen liquid liner, and you can't go wrong with the inexpensive price! XOX ♥
Price: $2.99 * Buy At: Walgreens * Size: 0.25 oz / 7 g The Well At Walgreens Watermelon Lip Balm is a pink, watermelon scented lip balm in a spherical packaging, similar to the EOS Lip Balms. (See the bottom of the post for a comparison) The Well At Walgreens Watermelon Lip Balm comes in a bright green plastic sphere-like package. The lip balm is flat on the top and bottom of the package, making it easy to set somewhere without it rolling around. The lip balm applies very smoothly and feels moisturizing and lightweight on the lips. This balm is not a thick or heavy duty moisurizer for the lips. The watermelon scent is absolutely amazing and it tastes good too. It's easy to see that the Well At Walgreens Lip Balm is modeled after the popular EOS lip balm (that I own every flavor of). In photos they look similar, but the Well At Walgreens Lip Balm is not a dupe for EOS Lip Balms. The first major difference is the packaging. While they both have the spherical shape, the Walgreens version feels like cheap plastic and is flat on the top and bottom of the lip balm. Another difference between the two is that the Walgreens version is cut flat across the top, while the EOS is rounded. They are similar in taste and scent, both smelling (and tasting) amazing. It's hard to compare the scent of the Walgreens Balm to the EOS Balm because there is not a Watermelon EOS (that is not limited edition) They are both moisturizing and similar in feel on the lips. So no, the Well At Walgreens Lip Balm is not a dupe for EOS, but with both lip balms being inexpensive, why not have both? XOX ♥
Price: $3.99 * Buy At: Ulta * Size: 4g / 0.14 oz The Nyx Butter Lip Balm in Parfait is a bright yellow-based pink tinted lip balm. Since the Nyx Butter Glosses are one of my favorite products, I had to try their Butter Lip Balms! For a tinted lip balm, Parfait has amazing pigmentation. Even with its thin, balmy formula, Parfait manages to have full coverage color. Although it has the name Butter Lip Balm, I don't find Parfait to apply very smooth or creamy. In fact, I only find Parfait to be averagely moisturizing. I'm conflicted about my final verdict on this product, because I like the pigmentation and color, but it should feel moisturizing since it is a lip balm. I don't think this product is bad, but I have other products to go to when I want to add color to my lips, and plenty of other lip balms that work better. XOX ♥
