St Ives Blackhead Clearing Green Tea Scrub - This scrub has an interesting texture--it feels like wet sand. It is pretty gritty, so I would probably not recommend it for sensitive skin, but since I have dry skin and clogged pores, I like a more intense scrub. I may repurchase in the future, but I like experimenting with new products all the time. Tony Moly Clear Skin Sheet Mask x2 - I have been trying to get into sheet masks, and since my skin has been breaking out quite a bit lately, I tried this one in an attempt to clear up my skin. Results with this mask are immediate; I found that my skin looked less red and my breakouts didn’t clear up, but they did calm down. I’m thinking of buying these to use once a week, to further help my skin. Tony Moly Skin Purifying and Pore Care Sheet Mask - I really liked these two masks as well (I have loved all my Tony Moly masks) but my skin seems to prefer the clear skin version. Love & Beauty Aloe Vera Sheet Mask for Dry Skin - After trying the Tony Moly masks, this one just really does not stand out. It was cheaper, but I really did not notice any skin benefits and the mask dried out before it was time to remove it. It’s Skin Carrot Clear Skin Sheet Mask - This was the slimiest feeling mask that I have used. Like all other sheet masks, this one is too big for my face. This one didn’t do anything that my Tony Moly ones don’t, so I’ll probably just stick to them. Simple Micellar Water - I love this stuff and it's a staple in my skincare regime. As the brand would suggest, the micellar water is simple. It doesn't have a fragrance, it doesn't irritate the skin and it really just feels like water. (It is not oily or greasy) I use this micellar water all the time to remove my makeup, so I have repurchased. Feria Smokey Blue Shimmering Color - I have been on the hunt for the best silver hair dye for my hair, and I found this shade on sale, so I picked up 2 boxes. I know that it is technically a pastel blue shade, but it looks similar to a silver. It didn’t hold onto the darker blonde pieces of my hair, but it did last longer than the Ion Titanium dye. (this was also in my last empties post, so I still had the same review) Rusk W8less Hairspray - I would've liked this hairspray if it hadn't have broken so soon. The sprayer got jammed and despite all my efforts, I couldn't get it fixed so it was thrown out. Organix Coconut Milk Anti-Breakage Serum - This is the product I use after washing my hair. I apply the serum to the ends of my hair and it gives back some moisture without weighing my hair down or making it look oily. Tangle Teezer - It finally came time to toss out this old friend. I’ve had it for years and it is my absolute favorite brush for my super tangle prone hair. I did repurchase before tossing this one out--I can’t be without my Tangle Teezer. Victoria's Secret Bombshell - I have been trying to use up my body mists, especially small ones like this. It wasn't particularly amazing and since I am trying to use them up, I doubt I would repurchase.
Nyx Matte Setting Spray - This has been my go-to setting spray for a while and I believe this is the third one I have used up and I have already repurchased. Maybelline Baby Skin Primer - I’m upset to put this in my empties--it was going to be a monthly favorite! However, my face really started breaking out and I finally realized that this was the only product that I had added recently, so I needed to toss it out. Nyx Control Freak Brow Gel - Apart from the large wand, I really like this brow gel. It holds the hairs in place all day without making them feel gross or creepy. I haven't opened up a new tube yet, but I have repurchased this product. Sephora Gel Serum Concealer - This concealer has a light coverage and feels nice on the skin. It’s easy to blend, and covers pores well, which is my main concern when it comes to concealer. I have some other products to use up first, but I am considering repurchasing it. Tarte Tarteist Mascara - This mascara came free with purchase at Ulta, but otherwise I wouldn’t have just bought the full size. It was alright, but nothing that was worth a high end price tag. Real Techniques Brow/Lash Comb - Brushes are not typically an empty, but this guy really needed to go. Multiple pieces of the metal comb had broken off and it was just time to get a new one. I repurchased the same one, but it now has a slightly different look. Inglot 77 Liner Gel - Another unfinished product that I had to toss. I don’t use gel liner very often, so I won’t repurchase, but it was still a nice product. Elf Lash Curler - After finding my Sephora lash curler that fits my round eyes perfectly, I had no need for this one. Rimmel Brow My Way Brow Gel - This brow gel was just alright. The wand was kind of big, especially for a colored gel and the color was a bit warm for my complexion. Nyx Blonde Eyebrow Gel - This is an unfortunate empty, since I had more than half of the tube left. The product got too thick to squeeze out. I could get it to squeeze out if I heated it up for a bit, but that’s a waste of time. I really liked this brow color, so I have repurchased. XOX ♥ XOX ♥

Nyx Silky Rose Powder Blush- Nyx’s Powder Blushes have long been one of my favorites...with the exception of this one. Silky Rose has an incredibly dry formula and gives hardly any pigmentation. For these reasons, I am just throwing this blush out. 2 Jordana Twist & Shine Balm Stains and Rimmel Colour Rush Balm Stain - I have no problem with the formula of these, I actually quite like it, but these colors just really aren’t me. I think they are pretty, but if I’m wanting to wear a lip color I won’t be choosing a pink or coral shade. Essence All About Matt! Powder- I really liked this powder. Unfortunately with the inexpensive packaging, the lid broke off quickly, but I did still continue to use it until the small remaining amount of powder shattered. I really love Essence as a brand and will continue to support them! Nyx Matte Finish Setting Spray - I believe this is the third bottle that I have used up, and I still love it. For now, I have been using a cheaper spray from City Color, but I’m sure some time I will return to my go-to setting spray. Tarte Lights, Camera, Lashes Mascara - I quite enjoyed this little guy and luckily got gifted the full size for my birthday! I haven’t opened up that one yet, but I definitely will be as soon as I use up a couple other mascaras. Lorac Cobra Mascara - I get plenty of these deluxe sized mascaras and this one was just pretty average, and I do not like the shape of the wand, so no repurchase for me. Jordana Best Lash Extreme Mascara - This mascara has been one of my favorites for quite a long time. I believe this is my third tube I’ve gone through. Best Lash Extreme has a good balance of length, thickness and volume. I must just be hard on my drugstore products, since this mascara is another product I have broken the lid of. Clean & Clear Advantage Daily Soothing Acne Wash- I really liked this face wash, and especially liked that it comes out in a foam, instead of a typical cream or gel. It worked well with my skin and was gentle enough to remove my eye makeup. Clean & Clear Advantage Daily Soothing Acne Scrub- To work along with the face wash, I also used this scrub from the same line. It is a cream exfoliator, so it works well on more sensitive skin. Tony Moly Tea Tree Sheet Mask- Sheet masks are becoming quite a trend, and Korean skincare brands have become more accessible thanks to this. My skin likes to freak out frequently, so using this mask was nice to calm it down a bit. Axe Anarchy for Her Spray- When I am looking for a body spray versus a “fragrance” I turn to my Axe sprays. I’ve got a lot of sprays to use up at the moment, but I’m sure I will repurchase in the future. Formula 10.0.6 Mattifying Oil-free Moisturizer - This moisturizer doesn’t quite feel like a ‘face lotion’. It does have a matte finish after application, but I wouldn’t say that it kept my skin any more matte throughout the day. It wasn’t a bad product, but I prefer my other moisturizer from Formula 10.0.6 (which also has SPF) so I will be returning to it. Macadamia Deep Repair Masque - I purchased this after it was super hyped up on YouTube and finally finished it up after taking a break from it. It is a nice conditioner, but definitely not nice enough to justify the price. For this reason, I do not plan on repurchasing. Organix Moroccan Agan Oil Intense Moisturizing Treatment - I bought this in an attempt to get my hair to be softer and more silky, but it didn’t do anything that a typical conditioner can do. No repurchase here.
Matrix Biolage Keratindose Shampoo - I have been using Matrix shampoos for a little while now and still enjoy them. They lather well and the liter lasts a pretty long time. I typically pick up a bottle at the Beauty Brands liter sale, so I'm sure I'll grab another Matrix shampoo soon. XOX ♥ XOX ♥

Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder - I haven't strayed from this powder since I started wearing makeup, but as my collection has grown, I've realized that there isn't much special about it. As you can see, I had to tape the lid back together--I've been through so many of these without finishing them either because the powder breaks, the compact breaks or the powder gets that weird film on top. EOS Orange Blossom - This flavor was from a limited edition collection, so you cannot buy it anymore. I love EOS lip balms and have pretty much every flavor, so of course I pick up the limited edition ones! Urban Decay Perversion Mascara - This is just a sample mascara, and it actually did encourage me to buy the full size. I have always been loyal to drugstore mascaras, but I just really liked this mascara for my top and bottom lashes. L’Oreal Voluminous Carbon Black Mascara - I love this mascara and have repurchased it many times over the years, so I will continue to do so. It adds thickness and volume without clumping and I really love the dense, natural bristle brush. L’Oreal Telescopic Waterproof Mascara - I did not finish this mascara, but it really just needed to be thrown away due to age. It wasn’t a bad mascara, but I do not frequently use waterproof mascaras, so I only used it when I needed one. I think I will purchase a different (and cheaper) mascara next time I need a waterproof one, but I won’t discount this one. Revlon Volume + Length Magnified Mascara - I didn’t finish this mascara--I just really was not a fan. It doesn’t do much for my lashes and doesn’t build up thickness at all, no matter how many coats used. Essence I Love Extreme Mascara - This mascara was alright, but I don’t think that I would repurchase it. My sister actually loves this product, but for me, the brush is just way too big to give separation to the lashes, and it often ends up getting on my lids. Rimmel Lash Curler - I’ve used this lash curler for a while, but it’s time to finally retire it, as it just doesn’t have the spring any more. I have repurchased the Elf lash curler, and while the Rimmel one worked fine, I doubt that I will repurchase it. Fresh Sugar Rose Lip Balm - Although the Fresh line is very pricy for a lip balm, they are my favorites. My lips get very, very dry and these are the only balms that effectively moisturize my lips, especially overnight. Mane n Tail Conditioner Spray - First of all, I love how this stuff smells. It smells like apple candy and the scent lingers for a while in my hair. It's hard to tell if it actually does anything, but I did repurchase it haha. Up & Up Nourishing Nail Polish Remover - Nothing to see here, just a typical polish remover. Lush American Cream Hair Conditioner - I bought this back during the Lush craze, and it is quite over hyped to me. It's overpriced and this conditioner is so thin--it doesn't soften or detangle the hair. The only thing I liked was the scent, so I pretty much just used it as a hair fragrance after a different conditioner. Soft Soap Hydrating Shower Cream - I have dry skin so this body wash claiming to be hydrating appealed to me. However, I didn't feel a difference with this soap versus a regular body wash. It didn't have a scent--that could be a selling point for some people, but I prefer scented soaps.
Mane n Tail Conditioner - I used up the matching shampoo a while ago, this one just took a decent amount longer, since I alternate between my regular and deep conditioner. It wasn't really anything special, but it is quite affordable. XOX ♥ If you want to see more pictures and information, I have linked the products I have previously reviewed. Smashbox Full Exposure Mascara - As I frequently find, I liked this mascara more as it dried out. I wasn’t crazy about the big, cone-shaped brush, however, so I think I will stick to my drugstore mascaras and not purchase the full size. Nyx Skinny Mascara - I was never a big fan of this. I thought it would be good for the lower lashes since the wand is so skinny, but it hardly applies any product and takes a while to build up. While I typically love Nyx products, this is one I will not repurchase. Jordana Fabuliner - I used to really love this liner, and felt tip liners in general, but I have gone back to using liquid liner as my go-to. I still think that the liner is a good one, especially for how inexpensive it is, so while I probably won’t repurchase, I would still recommend it to anyone looking for an affordable felt tip liner. Essence Super Fine Liner Pen - This used to be my go to liner, but I found myself liking it less as I continued to use it. I just feel that it dried out too quickly, so I’d have to work for a bit to get a completely even and opaque line. Don’t get me wrong, for $3 it’s pretty great, but I think I’m going to go back to using liquid liner instead of felt tip pens in general. Garnier Cleansing Oil - I loved this product a lot, so of course Garnier discontinued it. Now all I can seem to find are cleansing waters, which I do not like nearly as much as my cleansing oil, so I unfortunately have had to go back to just removing all my makeup at night with regular face cleanser. Batiste Tropical Dry Shampoo - Like many people, I really like Batiste. I have not repurchased yet, since there are many cheaper options out there I have been trying some different brands out, but I am sure that I will eventually repurchase Batiste. Clean n Clear Advantage Acne Control Face Wash - Clean n Clear is one of my go to skincare brands, as I find it to work well with my skin. I liked this cleanser and I already have another face wash from Clean n Clear, but I would repurchase this one. TRESemme Tres Two Hair Spray - This has been the hairspray I’ve used for years, and I have not really deviated away from it. It gets the job done without making my hair crunchy, and it is super inexpensive, so I will continue to repurchase. Out the Door Top Coat - This top coat gives the nails a thick appearance, giving the most gel-like look that I have found from a top coat. It dries quickly and is easy to apply on top of a nail design, since the thick formula will most likely not smudge a design. I have some other top coats I am trying out, but I am likely to repurchase. Clearasil 5 in 1 Lotion- I don’t really find that I saw any acne reducing properties with this face lotion, but it was still a nice product. I use it every day before applying my makeup, since I have such dry skin. I may purchase again in the future out of convenience, but I have gone back to my Formula 10.0.6 Moisturizer for now. Hempz Pomegranate Daily Herbal Moisturizing Shampoo - This shampoo has a very interesting texture, unlike any other I have tried. It’s on the thicker side, and I would almost call it slimy. While it feels kind of odd when you first put it in your hands, it does lather nicely in the hair, which is on the top of the list of things I look for in a shampoo. L’Oreal Hydra-Renewal Moisturizer - I use this moisturizer after I wash my face at night to really hydrate my skin while I sleep. I don’t use the moisturizer in the day as it is a bit thick for applying makeup over, but it is perfect at night for my dry skin. Bath & BodyWorks Pumpkin Latte & Marshmallow Body Lotion - I really liked this lotion, so for some reason I kept it around even though I knew I couldn’t get anymore product out of it. I don’t know if Bath & BodyWorks will be rereleasing this scent again in the fall, but if they do, I will probably repurchase this lotion. Aussie 3 Minute Miracle - This is my go to deep conditioner and I believe this is the third bottle I have used up. I still really like how it makes my hair feel and of course how inexpensive it is. I will continue to purchase!
Tree Hut Passion Fruit & Guava Shea Sugar Scrub - This scrub is in pretty much all my empties, so there’s not much more to say about it! I really love it and will continue to repurchase. XOX ♥ |
