Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder - I haven't strayed from this powder since I started wearing makeup, but as my collection has grown, I've realized that there isn't much special about it. As you can see, I had to tape the lid back together--I've been through so many of these without finishing them either because the powder breaks, the compact breaks or the powder gets that weird film on top. EOS Orange Blossom - This flavor was from a limited edition collection, so you cannot buy it anymore. I love EOS lip balms and have pretty much every flavor, so of course I pick up the limited edition ones! Urban Decay Perversion Mascara - This is just a sample mascara, and it actually did encourage me to buy the full size. I have always been loyal to drugstore mascaras, but I just really liked this mascara for my top and bottom lashes. L’Oreal Voluminous Carbon Black Mascara - I love this mascara and have repurchased it many times over the years, so I will continue to do so. It adds thickness and volume without clumping and I really love the dense, natural bristle brush. L’Oreal Telescopic Waterproof Mascara - I did not finish this mascara, but it really just needed to be thrown away due to age. It wasn’t a bad mascara, but I do not frequently use waterproof mascaras, so I only used it when I needed one. I think I will purchase a different (and cheaper) mascara next time I need a waterproof one, but I won’t discount this one. Revlon Volume + Length Magnified Mascara - I didn’t finish this mascara--I just really was not a fan. It doesn’t do much for my lashes and doesn’t build up thickness at all, no matter how many coats used. Essence I Love Extreme Mascara - This mascara was alright, but I don’t think that I would repurchase it. My sister actually loves this product, but for me, the brush is just way too big to give separation to the lashes, and it often ends up getting on my lids. Rimmel Lash Curler - I’ve used this lash curler for a while, but it’s time to finally retire it, as it just doesn’t have the spring any more. I have repurchased the Elf lash curler, and while the Rimmel one worked fine, I doubt that I will repurchase it. Fresh Sugar Rose Lip Balm - Although the Fresh line is very pricy for a lip balm, they are my favorites. My lips get very, very dry and these are the only balms that effectively moisturize my lips, especially overnight. Mane n Tail Conditioner Spray - First of all, I love how this stuff smells. It smells like apple candy and the scent lingers for a while in my hair. It's hard to tell if it actually does anything, but I did repurchase it haha. Up & Up Nourishing Nail Polish Remover - Nothing to see here, just a typical polish remover. Lush American Cream Hair Conditioner - I bought this back during the Lush craze, and it is quite over hyped to me. It's overpriced and this conditioner is so thin--it doesn't soften or detangle the hair. The only thing I liked was the scent, so I pretty much just used it as a hair fragrance after a different conditioner. Soft Soap Hydrating Shower Cream - I have dry skin so this body wash claiming to be hydrating appealed to me. However, I didn't feel a difference with this soap versus a regular body wash. It didn't have a scent--that could be a selling point for some people, but I prefer scented soaps.
Mane n Tail Conditioner - I used up the matching shampoo a while ago, this one just took a decent amount longer, since I alternate between my regular and deep conditioner. It wasn't really anything special, but it is quite affordable. XOX ♥ |
