XOX ♥ Hask Argan Oil - I enjoyed using a little bit of this oil throughout my hair after I finished styling it, whether my hair was straight, wavy, or curly. It doesn’t weigh down the hair or make it oily looking and it has a really nice scent. Formula 10.0.6 Pores Be Pure Mud Mask - This is one of my favorite skincare lines, and one of the only that I see results with. I’ve never really noticed any kind of difference in my skin after using a mask, however, no matter what brand it’s from. I have purchased a different kind of mask from this brand, but I may consider repurchasing this one later. Max Factor Mega Volume Mascara - This was a pretty good mascara. I liked the formula, although the hourglass shape of the wand is kinda funky. I will not be repurchasing this, however, because it is a british product and I would not have a way to buy it again. Suave Daily Clarifying Shampoo - I like to use clarifying shampoo every once and a while to get all the product buildup out of my hair. I have repurchased this one, as it is affordable and easy to find. Tree Hut Coconut Lime Body Scrub - I go through these Tree Hut scrubs all the time and I’m always trying new scents. I really liked how coconut lime smelled, so I may repurchase this scent again, but I have already purchased two new scrubs in different scents. Lorac Behind The Scenes Eye Primer - This little sample primer comes with the Pro Palette, and it actually lasted me quite a while. It doesn’t do much to even out the lids, but does make for a nice base for shadow. Rimmel Hide The Blemish Concealer Stick - I didn’t get to use too much of this product before the stick of concealer just fell out of the tube onto the floor, so it has to be thrown away. I like stick concealer and foundation products because they are quick and easy, especially for on the go. Suave Kids Detangler - This is a popular product despite it being for kids, as it is accessible and cheap. It did work, but not as well as I wanted it to for my super tangle prone hair. I may repurchase in the future since it’s so affordable, but right now I am using a high end detangler. Clean n Clear Makeup Dissolving Cleansing Wipes - I got these as samples and finished them off a while ago. They worked well, but I prefer using a cleansing oil to remove my makeup, and I find that method is cheaper too. If I were to buy more makeup removing wipes, I would stick to the generic brand, however. Herbal Essences Tousling Gel Spray - I used to use this all the time when my hair would just not hold a curl. Now for some reason my hair curls easier, so I don’t have a use for products like this. It’s a bit harder to find now, but if you have troubles getting your hair to be curly or wavy, I would recommend this product. USmooth Flat Iron - I used this flat iron for about three years and it just stopped staying on. I did end up purchasing a Chi iron to replace it, but didn’t like it as much so I returned it and repurchased this iron in a gunmetal color. I like the results I get with this flat iron and I like that you can customize the temperature, and see the temperature on a screen rather than just guessing how hot it is.
SuperNail Cuticle Softener & Remover- This is definitely not an empty, but I am getting rid of it! When I saw on the back that there is a carcinogen warning, I figured it was best to not even mess with it. This product has cocamide DEA in it, which is a modified coconut oil and is believed to be a carcinogen. EOS Lotion - This is my favorite lotion for my hands. It absorbs quickly into the skin and I just like how it feels. I like the packaging, it makes it easy to take with me wherever. I have repurchased two more, and want to try the other two scents as well. XOX ♥ Maybelline 115 Fit Me Concealer - This is an overall great concealer. It’s not too thick or too thin, it’s easy to blend out, and it doesn’t look cakey on my dry skin. I’ve had pretty good luck with Maybelline’s Fit Me line, and I will continue to use it. Jordana Best Lash Extreme Mascara - I really enjoyed this mascara and it's super inexpensive! I look for volume and thickness the most when it comes to mascaras, and this one delivered. I haven’t repurchased yet, but I will. Maybelline the Colossal Cat Eyes Mascara - I wasn't crazy about this mascara when I first used it, but as it dried out, I found that I liked it much more, especially on my bottom lashes. I would consider repurchasing, but I have plenty of mascaras at the moment. Nyx Matte Finish Setting Spray - This is the second bottle I've used up, and I am currently using my third. This is a necessity to my collection, and I use it to complete my makeup every day. It prolongs the wear of my makeup, and it removes the appearance of any powder on my skin. Maybelline 115 Fit Me Foundation Stick - I’ve been using this stuff for so long, and it is still a go to product for me. It is super quick and easy to apply and works great on large and small areas of the face. It covers acne and pores great, which is what I need in a foundation. I did repurchase and am still using it currently. Wet n Wild Mega Volume Mascara - This used to be one of my favorites, but they reformulated and repackaged it since the last time I used it, and I’m just not as crazy about it. It’s not bad, but I don’t think I will be repurchasing. Well At Walgreens Candy Corn Lip Balm - This was a limited edition flavor from Walgreen’s Halloween line of lip balms. I liked the flavor and would continue to purchase the new flavors that Walgreens releases. EOS Summer Fruit Lip Balm - This was the first EOS lip balm I owned! I love the formula of EOS lip balms, and I have purchased every flavor they have released, and I will continue to. Summer Fruit is not my favorite from the line, so I may repurchase it, but I like others (like Tangerine and Blueberry Acai) more. Kiss The Collection Nails in Imagination - I've never worn fake nails before since I have somewhat long nails already, but I liked the look of these (you can see my post about these nails if you are curious). I liked them, but they were a bit wide for my small nails, and the glue left my nails damaged after I wore the nails for a week. Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne Wash - I had bought this just as a small face wash to take with me when I travel, and it wasn't all that great. Neutrogena doesn't work as well for me as some other brands, and I didn't like the scent. Mane n Tail Shampoo - This shampoo has been popular for a while (my mom used it when she was my age) and it’s just simple and inexpensive. It doesn’t have a scent, which may appeal to people who are sensitive to scented products. It has claims to aid hair growth, and my hair has grown significantly in the past year, although I have been doing a lot of other things to make my hair more healthy. Formula 10.0.6 So Totally Clean Acne Treatment - This is the second bottle I've used up, and I've already got another. This treatment helps my acne prone skin, and I like to use it right after I wash my face.
Formula 10.0.6 Picture Perfect Day Daily Moisturizer - This line of skincare tends to work well for my skin, and I really liked this as a moisturizer before I apply my makeup. It has a lightweight feel and a nice subtle scent, and it has SPF 15, which is always a plus. Bath & BodyWorks Black Raspberry Vanilla Triple Moisture Body Cream - I am finally using up lotions! This one has a nice and thick texture, which I really like in a body moisturizer. The scent was nice, but there are other scents from Bath & BodyWorks that I like more. XOX ♥ Up & Up Strengthening Nail Polish Remover - I have always used the Target brand polish remover, as it gets the job done. It is not the best for removing glitter polishes, but it quickly removes regular polish. I have repurchased. Sephora Pure White Nano Liner - This was my go to white liner for the waterline and for an inner eye highlight. It is pigmented without being too opaque and the formula is creamy and long wearing. I have repurchased this liner and still love it. L'Oreal Double Extend Waterproof Mascara - As far as waterproof mascaras go, this one is my favorite. It creates a full look to the lashes and does not budge a bit when in contact with water. Elf Brow Comb - It's not too often that a brush is an empty, but this brow comb has seen better days. It worked alright, but I prefer a metal comb for my lashes instead of the plastic ones that this comb has. Benefit They're Real Mascara - I really enjoy this mascara and the results that it gives me. However, since it is a high end mascara, I probably will not repurchase it, but if I get any more deluxe samples (like the one I used up) I will gladly use them. Aussie Moist 3 Minute Miracle - I use this deep conditioner once a week, and I find it to really help my hair feel softer. The product is effective and inexpensive; I have repurchased and have continued using it. Batiste Blush Dry Shampoo - Batiste is my favorite line of dry shampoo. Although it is a bit pricier than other drugstore dry shampoos, it really helps to freshen up second or third day hair. Garnier Sleek & Shine Flat Iron Perfector - It is difficult to determine how well a heat protectant spray works, but since my hair didn't feel fried, I would say that it worked. I always like to get a new kind of heat protectant each time I use one up, but I may repurchase this one in the future because I really like how it smells. John Frieda Full Repair Shampoo - This was a sample bottle and while I think it did a good job lathering, I probably won't buy the full size. I typically get my shampoo and conditioner from the Liter Sale, so they are always salon brands. But I would consider this line if I was looking to get a drugstore shampoo. Lush Fair Trade Honey Shampoo - This product was quite a let down for me. It doesn't lather the best and it was ridiculously expensive, since it is from Lush. This tiny bottle cost $10, so I am definitely not repurchasing it. I did, however, like how it made my hair smell though! AG Ultramoist Conditioner - I quite enjoyed this conditioner, it has a nice and thick formula and smells like an orange dreamsicle. I may repurchase it or another kind from the AG line, but I always like to try new things. Biolage Fiber Strong Fortifying Cream - I rarely use packet samples that I get with online orders, but I am glad that I used this one! I used about a quarter sized amount of this cream on my damp hair after showering, and the next day I felt that my hair was much more managable and stayed straight longer than usual. Matrix Biolage Deep Smoothing Shampoo - This specific shampoo is not available any more, but I did repurchase a different shampoo from Matrix Biolage that I will use after I finish my current shampoo. Softsoap Juicy Pomegranate & Mango Body Wash - I am a drugstore girl when it comes to body wash and I tend to quite like the Softsoap line. This one had a nice scent and I may repurchase, but I like to test out new scents whenever I use up one. Up & Up Cleansing Towelettes - As always, these makeup wipes are in my empties. I use them pretty much every night to remove my makeup and they get the job done. Clean & Clear Advantage Daily Soothing Acne Wash - This is my favorite skincare line and I've found it to work really well with my skin. I have repurchased and also have other products from the line. Maybelline Clean Express Liquid Makeup Remover - I used this remover for cleaning up mistakes when doing my makeup and for removing my waterproof mascara. I like how the bottle has a small opening so you don't get too much product. I probably will repurchase in the future.
St Ives Apricot Scrub - I used this as a daily face scrub and did not find it to be irritating to my skin whatsoever. I don't really think I saw an improvement in my skin while using this, but it definitely did no harm. Clean & Clear Essentials Daily Toner - I may repurchase, but I have never really found my skin to benefit from any type of toner. It did dry out my skin a bit, like most toners do, but I do have fairly dry skin. Neutrogena Oil Free Moisturizer - This is one product I definitely will not be repurchasing. I did not like how the product felt on my skin, and like other Neutrogena products I have tried, it seemed to break me out. Clean & Clear Morning Glow Moisturizer - I've always had good luck with products from Clean & Clear and this moisturizer is not an exception. It did not feel greasy or oily on my skin and I like that it has SPF. XOX ♥ MakeupCK One Mascara - This was the free birthday gift from Ulta last year, and while I wouldn't spend the money on this mascara myself, I am a fan of it. The mascara gave a pretty even combination of length, volume and thickness, which is always something I look for in a mascara. Wet n Wild Mega Protein Mascara - I got this mascara after loving the Mega Volume mascara, and I wasn't crazy about it. It isn't bad, but I feel like it weighs down my lashes. This can be a good thing on the bottom lashes, so that is what I used this mascara for. Revlon ColorStay Liquid Liner - At first I wasn't a big fan of this liner when I first tried it because the applicator is much different than the NYC liner I had been used to. I did end up liking it more as I used it and I may repurchase in the future if I don't find another liquid liner that I prefer. Elf Eyelid Primer - This is the second one I have used up and I have already repurchased it, since it still is my favorite eye primer! It provides a bit of coverage to the lid area and it really extends the wear of all my shadows. EOS Blueberry Acai - This might just be my favorite flavor of EOS lip balm, so I was sad to finish it up. I have a ton of lip balms right now, so I have not repurchased Blueberry Acai yet, but I am sure that I will. Maybelline Clear Great Lash Mascara - This was and still is my go to clear brow gel. I have repurchased it and am currently using it as a part of my daily brow routine. It holds the brow hairs in place without feeling hard or crunchy, and it is pretty affordable! Nyx Matte Finish Setting Spray - I use this to finish off my makeup everyday and I do actually think that it makes a difference in my makeup's wear. It also can just freshen up the face and keep it from looking powdery. It doesn't make my face more matte, but it doesn't add any dewiness either. I repurchased it awhile ago and am still loving it. Hair ProductsL'Oreal Sleek It Iron Straight Heat Spray - It's difficult to really determine how well a heat protectant works, but I think that this one did. I may repurchase it sometime, but I like to try new heat protectants every time that I need a new one. TRESemme Climate Protection Finishing Spray - TRESemme is my go to brand for hair spray and Climate Protection is my favorite version they have. I was going to repurchase it, but it is harder to find than the classic TRES Two Spray, so I bought that one instead. Paul Mitchell Lite Detangler - I have had this product for far too long and have finally finished it off. My hair is very prone to tangles, so this product was a lifesaver, especially when my hair was wet. Since this product is a bit pricier I have not repurchased it, but bought one from a different brand instead. Skincare & BodyTree Hut Tropical Mango Shea Sugar Body Scrub - I like to exfoliate at least once a week and I really enjoyed this scrub. It isn't too abrasive, it smells good, and it is inexpensive. I repurchased the scrub, but in the Coconut Lime scent instead, but I did like the Tropical Mango.
Axe Anarchy For Her Spray (Travel Size) - I like this scent for days that I dress more athletic and the aerosol can makes it really quick to spray. I already have it in the full size and I have also repurchased two of the travel sized versions. Up & Up Makeup Remover Cleansing Towelettes - It's not an empties for me without these makeup wipes. Of course, I have purchased these again and will continue to purchase them for removing my eye makeup at night. Formula 10.0.6 So Totally Clean Acne Treatment - I have tried a couple products from this line, and I think that they work pretty well with my skin. This acne treatment was pretty much a toner, and I applied it on most days after I washed my face. I have repurchased. XOX ♥ |
