Price: $6.99 * Buy At: Target * Size: 0.17 oz / 5 ml The Maybelline Rose Redefined (90) Color Elixir is a medium neutral toned pink. The Color Elixirs come in a clear tube (so you can see the products color) and they have a short doe-foot applicator. Rose Redefined has the same great formula as the rest of the Color Elixir line. The formula is slightly thick, but not to the point of being goopy or gross. It has a moisturizing, comfortable feel on the lips and is not sticky. Rose Redefined is a fairly neutral color that is a bit darker than my natural lip color, making it a great choice for a glossy, everyday lip color. XOX ♥

Price: $4.49 * Buy At: Ulta * Size: 0.053 oz / 1.5 g The Nyx Electroshock Hot Singles Eye Shadow is a bright cobalt blue with a matte finish. The Hot Singles Shadows come in a round, black plastic package with a clear lid. Electroshock has nice pigmentation, but isn't quite as opaque as I had hoped. However, this gorgeous cobalt can be built up to a more intense color. It also is much brighter and more true to color when applied over a white cream base (like a pencil eyeliner). I am impressed with the formula of the shadow, it has a smooth, not chalky, feel despite being a bright, matte color. If you wanted, it could also work well in the crease because it blends out fairly easily. XOX ♥
Price: $3.99 * Buy At: Ulta * Size: 1.4 oz / 4 g The Nyx Extra Creamy Round Lipstick in Summer Love is a light neutral mauve with a bit of a sheen. Just like the rest of the Extra Creamy Round Lipsticks, Summer Love has a very creamy formula that glides onto the lips like butter. This provides a moisturizing and sort of slippery feel on the lips, but also contributes to it not being the longest lasting lip color. It is very pigmented, but not quite as opaque as other colors I’ve tried from the line. Summer Love is a really unique color, it almost looks like a nude on the lips, but it’s definitely a mauve. It looks less pink in real life than it does in the swatch pictures. XOX ♥
Price: $5.99 * Buy At: Target * Size: 0.14 oz / 4 g The Maybelline Color Tattoo in Fierce & Tangy (10) is a bright yellow based orange with a matte finish. The Color Tattoos come in a durable feeling, somewhat heavy, clear pot with a black lid. Fierce & Tangy is very pigmented and applies very opaque. It can easily be sheered out to achieve a subtle orange in the crease or on the lids. The product does become less creamy over time, but still maintains a smooth texture and application. You can also rub off the drier top layer of product to get back to the creamy texture. Once it has set, Fierce & Tangy does not budge and it does not crease on me. The color loses intensity when it gets wet, so it's not quite waterproof, but it doesn't smear or smudge and is very water resistant. XOX ♥
Price: $2.49 * Buy At: Kmart * Size: 2.2 g / 0.08 oz The Jordana Blush Powder in Apple Cheeks (45) is a bright reddish pink with a matte finish. The Jordana Blush Powders come in a small compact with a clear lid that screws on. I now own five shades of these blushes and they all have the same impeccable formula. Despite being matte, Apple Cheeks does not feel chalky at all and has a smooth, buttery texture. Apple Cheeks has some intense pigmentation and would work great for darker skin tones or on lighter skin tones when sheered out. It applies nice and even, and is very easy to blend on the cheeks. Price: $6 * Buy At: Ulta * Size: 0.27 fl oz / 8 ml The Nyx Athens Soft Matte Lip Cream is a neutral peach liquid lipstick with a matte finish. The Soft Matte Lip Creams come in a matte lip gloss-like tube with a doe foot applicator. The formula of the Soft Matte Lip Creams is interesting, and a bit hard to describe. It has a thin, somewhat slick feel that sort of feels like an oil on the lips. It's this feeling that makes the Soft Matte Lip Creams feel quite comfortable and moisturizing. Athens has very opaque pigmentation and applies like paint to the lips, since it's such a full coverage product. XOX ♥
Price: $38 * Buy At: Ulta * Size: 0.44 oz / 12.8 g & 0.36 oz / 10.2 g The Lorac Pro To Go Palette is a multipurpose palette containing six eye shadows, two blushes and a bronzer. The palette also comes with two small synthetic brushes. The Pro To Go Palette has the same black rubberized packaging as the regular Pro Palette. It opens like a book on both sides and can also unfold to reveal all of the shadows and cheek products. Lorac stayed consistent with the formula of the shadows in this palette, they have the same buttery smooth texture and amazing pigmentation as the regular Pro Palette. I find that blushes in multipurpose palettes like this one, can tend to be misses, but in the Pro To Go palette they are definitely a hit. What impressed me even more than the two blushes was the bronzer. Bronze has a great formula and is super pigmented. It’s pigmented enough to even work for someone that is much darker than me. I really like the selection of shadows in this palette, it gives you enough variety to create many eye looks. Often in palettes like this you will find at least one shade that is a dud, but everything in this palette is great! I took only this palette for my shadows and cheek products on a week vacation and it worked perfectly for me. Pro To Go does come with two little brushes, but they aren't that great and I don't plan on using them, but they could work in a pinch. XOX ♥
Price: $7.99 * Buy At: Walgreens * Size: 0.12 oz / 3.5 g The Milani Baked Blush in Luminoso (05) is a light peach blush with a golden sheen. The Baked Blushes come in a gold compact with a clear lid. The compacts open on the top and bottom. The top of the compact holds the blush and the bottom has a mirror and small brush. The blush is dome shaped, since it's a baked product. Luminoso has a slightly dry texture, but the product is still very smooth. It is very pigmented and looks absolutely beautiful on the cheeks. Luminoso just makes the cheeks look healthy and glowing, great for the warmer months, but it would still work year round. XOX ♥
Price: $5.49 * Buy At: CVS * Size: 4 g / 0.14 oz The Rimmel Lasting Finish by Kate Lipstick in 05 is a warm medium pink with a creme finish. It appears that it might have a bit of a sheen in the tube, but I don't notice it on the lips. 05 has nice pigmentation, but doesn't give an opaque look to the lips. When applied lightly over a lip balm, 05 can be a very natural looking pink, but it can also be built up for a more intense color. It drags a bit during application and feels slightly tacky on the lips, but it's not too big of a deal. The Rimmel Lasting Finish by Kate lipsticks feel decent on the lips and have a 3-5 hour wear. The Lasting FInish lipsticks have a distinctive smell that I can't stand, but you can't smell it once it's applied and some people do like the scent. XOX ♥
Price: $17.50 * Buy At: Cosmetic Company Outlet * Size: 2.8 g / 0.09 oz The MAC Eye Shadow X 2 in Double Feature 4 is a shadow duo with a shimmery teal and a matte camel brown (neither shades have a name). This duo was released in a 2011 collection, and is still available at the Cosmetic Company Outlet. This duo comes in a durable, black package with a clear lid. The duo closes magnetically, so it won't randomly open if it's in a bag. Unfortunately the two shadows do not have the same formula quality. While the camel shadow is very pigmented and smooth, the teal needs some building up and has a drier feel. I mainly bought the duo for the camel shadow, but when built up the teal is a pretty color and looks nice with my eye color. XOX ♥
