Price: $24 * Buy At: Ulta * Size: 0.08 oz / 2.3 g The Tarte Colored Clay CC Undereye Corrector in Light-Medium is a warm peachy cream concealer. The packaging of the concealer is really nice. It's quite thin and compact compared to many pots of concealer. However, it doesn't have a mirror on the lid, which could be a negative to some, but it doesn't really bother me. The consistency of the concealer is fairly thick and it feels a bit sticky. This made me worried about how it would apply and last on my under eyes, but it actually does a great job. The concealer is very easy to blend out under the eyes with your fingers and doesn't look patchy, even on dry under eyes like mine. Since the product is on the thicker side, I figured that it would crease throughout the day, but it didn't. It may perform differently on other skin types, but on me creasing was not a problem since I set it with a translucent powder. The corrector has amazing coverage and completely removed the bluish tint under my eyes. XOX ♥

Price: $3.49 * Buy At: Ulta * Size: 1.049 g / 0.037 oz The Nyx Slim Lip Pencil in Nude Beige is a warm, medium tan lip liner with a matte finish. The formula of Nude Beige is a bit on the dry side, but it still applies evenly to the lips. It does feel dry on the lips after applied, but I typically pair lip liners with a gloss, lipstick or at least a lip balm. With this lip liner, it's easy to create a sharp, clean outline around your lips and it prolongs the lip color. Nude Beige would be a great base for any brown, tan, nude and even neutral pink lip products. XOX ♥
How To | Step by Step TutorialAfter priming my lids with the Elf Eyelid Primer, I applied two different cream bases. On the outer portion I used the Sephora Jumbo Pencil in Kaki and on the inner portion of my lid I used the Sephora Jumbo Pencil in Glitter Beige. I also applied a quite thin line of the green base to my lower lashline. For the transition shade in the crease I used a light yellow-green from the Sleek Supreme iDivine Palette (which I use pretty much everytime I do a green eye look) I applied the same shade on the lashline as well. I used a flat liner brush to apply a darker mossy green right below the waterline. I applied corresponding powder shadows over the liner base; a shimmery mossy green from the Sleek palette on the outer half and Urban Decay Half Baked on the inner half. I applied a thin line of the Inglot AMC Eyeliner Gel in 17 on the top lid and I used the Sephora Nano Liner in Pure White on the waterline. To finish the makeup look I applied the Benefit They're Real and CK One mascara on my top and bottom lashes.
XOX ♥ Price: $5.99 * Buy At: Ulta * Size: 4 g / 0.14 oz The Nyx Powder Blush in Desert Rose is a medium-dark warm pink with a sheen. The Nyx Powder Blushes come in a small black plastic compact with a clear lid, which is convenient if you own a lot of these blushes. Desert Rose has a soft, smooth texture and is quite pigmented. The pigmentation and color makes Desert Rose a perfect blush color for medium skin tones, but it also works on light skin when sheered out. The color does look quite matte, but it has a slight sheen which adds a glow to the cheeks. The color on the cheeks doesn't last all day, but it can be improved when applied over primer and/or foundation, and set with a setting spray. XOX ♥
The EOS Wildberry Lip Balm Sphere is a limited edition lip balm that is part of the A Ray of Holiday Sunshine collection inspired by Rachel Roy. It has pink packaging with wings on either side of the EOS logo. Wildberry is 100% natural and 95% organic. The scent of this lip balm is sweet, but not nearly as sweet as the holiday trio EOS released, and I reviewed. The scent of Wildberry reminds me a lot of the Passion Fruit EOS which had light purple packaging and was limited edition. I'm not crazy about the scent, but I collect the EOS lip balms, so I had to have it in my collection. The formula of the lip balm is consistent with the rest of the EOS line, providing a thin layer of moisture to the lips that can last for an hour or more. Price: $8.99 * Buy At: Ulta The Real Techniques Expert Face Brush is a rounded dense brush with an orange chrome handle. I reviewed this brush a long time ago, and my picture quality has drastically improved since then, and since I still use this brush daily, I wanted to give it an updated review. The Expert Face Brush has short, dense, synthetic bristles that are rounded at the end. The brush is great quality, I have had my Expert Face Brush (which is not the one in the photos) for a year and a half and I have maybe had one or two bristles shed. I've used the brush pretty much everyday and still love it. The density of the bristles make the Expert Face brush work great for blending in liquid or cream foundation (or concealer) and cream cheek products. It beautifully blends out the product without effecting its coverage. The brush doesn't leave brush strokes on the finished look of the skin and doesn't absorb much product. For me, the Expert Face Brush is a staple and I suggest it for everyone. XOX ♥
Price: $3.49 * Buy At: Ulta * Size: 1 g / 0.04 oz The Nyx Eye/Eye Brow Pencil in Charcoal is a cool toned dark grey with a matte finish. The Nyx Slim Eye Pencil is a classic pencil liner that requires sharpening. The formula is kind of dry, but it doesn't really pull on the skin. Charcoal doesn't have the best color payoff and it did need to be built up to get the color seen in the swatches. I feel that this color would work for someone that wants a subtle liner look on the top lash line or in the waterline. Overall it's not a great liner, but I don't hate it. XOX ♥
Price: $42 * Buy At: Sephora * Size: 5 x 4.5 g / 0.158 oz The Tarte Pin Up Girl Amazonian Clay 12 Hr Blush Palette contains five blushes: Breathless, Embraced, Whimsy, Bashful & Irreplaceable. Each blush in the palette is a little bit more than 3/4 the size of a full sized Amazonian Clay Blush, which makes this palette an amazing deal since you are getting five different shades. All of the blush colors are only available in this palette and cannot be purchased as singles. The blushes come packaged in a soft, metallic palette with two decorative bobby pins clipped on, which are just a little extra that Tarte includes. The packaging feels very nice and durable, which justifies the price even more. To open the palette you press the little gold button and lift the lid. The lid has a fairly large mirror and below are the blushes. As Tarte tends to do, the names are not printed below the blushes, it just comes with a plastic cover with the blush's names printed. All five blushes have an amazingly smooth and soft formula in combination with very good pigmentation. I actually have to apply most of the shades with a light hand since they are so intensely pigmented. One of the blushes, Bashful, is slightly powdery, but I don't think that it affects its performance at all. I find that all of the shades are quite different from each other and they very in tone and finish. Three of the shades have a matte finish and two of the shades have a sheen. This line of blushes claims to last 12 hours and I don't find it to last quite that long, but they do last decently longer than any other blushes in my collection. I absolutely love this palette and suggest it for everyone! XOX ♥
This is one of my go to looks whenever I'm in the mood for winged liner. I think that the white shadow gives the look a pretty, clean look and it's pretty simple and easy. How To | Step by Step Picture TutorialAs I have in many of my previous eye looks, I started off by applying a thin layer of the Nyx Jumbo Eye Pencil in milk as a white base. I also applied the Sephora Nano Liner in Pure White to the inner corner. To set the white cream base, I used my favorite white shadow, Inglot #318. I also used #318 to further brighten the inner corner of my eyes. I went with a subtle crease color for this look, I used the light matte brown in the Lorac AfterGLO Palette with a Sigma E25 brush. I used the same color under my eyes with the Coastal Scents Brow Brush. I blended out the shadow on the top and bottom lid with the Sigma E40. For the winged liner, I made a light outline with the Maybelline EyeStudio Gel Liner and an angled liner brush. I filled in the wing and lined the top lashline with the Jordana Fabuliner in Black. I used the white Sephora liner in the waterline and I used Maybelline the Rocket and the Urban Decay Perversion mascara to finish off the look.
XOX ♥ Price: $6 * Buy At: Ulta * Size: 4.5 g The Nyx Matte Lipstick in Audrey is a medium pink with a matte finish. Although it is a matte lipstick, I feel that this shade does have a bit of a dull shine. The Nyx Matte Lipsticks come in a matte black tube with a clear spot in the middle where you can see the lipstick's color inside. Audrey glides onto the lips and is quite opaque. It has a barely there feel on the lips and provides a bit of moisture. I actually find this lipstick to be more comfortable to wear than many other lipsticks that are not matte. The Nyx Matte Lipsticks are some of my favorite matte lip products since they don't have a chalky look and they don't make the lips look dry at all. XOX ♥
