Price: $12 * Buy At: Inglot * Size: 5.5 g / 0.19 oz The Inglot AMC Eyeliner Gel in 77 is a matte black gel eyeliner. The product comes in a plastic pot with a black lid. The name is printed on the bottom and you can see the product's color through the package. This eyeliner is intensely pigmented and creates an opaque line without any building up. In fact, a little bit goes a long way with this liner. Once applied, this liner isn't going anywhere. It applies to the lid so smoothly and doesn't pull at all. I like to use a bent liner brush (from Sonia Kashuk or Coastal Scents) or the Real Techniques Silicon Liner Brush for applying this liner. The AMC Eyeliner Gel is completely waterproof and smudge proof. The liner also lasts all day without moving, fading or smudging at all. This does make it a bit more difficult to remove, but it still comes off just fine with a liquid makeup remover. XOX ♥

Price: $7.99 * Buy At: Ulta * Size: 3 x 0.25 oz / 7 g The EOS A Ray of Holiday Sunshine is a pack of three new, limited edition EOS lip balms inspired by the fashion designer, Rachel Roy. The set includes Indian Summer (Orange Blossom), St Barth's Sunrise (Pink Grapefruit) and Aloha Hawaii (Strawberry Kiwi). Each lip balm has the classic EOS packaging with wings engraved on either side of the EOS logo. Indian Summer has a very sweet orange scent that reminds me a lot of the Extra Sweet Orange gum. St Barth's Sunrise isn't as sweet as Indian Summer, but it still has a fairly strong grapefruit scent. Aloha Hawaii has a delicious strawberry kiwi scent and is less scented than the other two lip balms. I personally like these strong, sweet scents, but if that's not your thing, I wouldn't suggest this set. All of the balms have a smooth formula and add a thin layer of moisture to the lips. These lip balms aren't super thick and moisturizing, but they do have some decent lasting time and they smell amazing. Plus, the balms are 100% natural and 95% organic. EOS has been one of my favorite brands of lip balm and this set doesn't disapoint! XOX ♥
Price: $5 * Buy At: Ulta * Size: 0.14 oz / 4 g The Nyx Powder Blushes are one of my favorites blushes from the drugstore, and since I have 11 of them, I thought it would be good to swatch them all together and compare them. They come in a black plastic compact with a clear lid and the name printed on the bottom. The product inside has a studded look, which wears down with use. My oldest shade, Peach's package really shows some wear, the writing on the lid is gone and the lid feels like it's about ready to fall off. Mauve is a pale pink with warm undertones and a matte finish. It's similar in color to Dusty Rose, but they have different finishes and Mauve's formula is much better. Peach is a light cool toned pink with a matte finish. It's not close to any of the other shades I own and it's like a lighter and cooler toned version of Pinky. Pinched is a warm medium pink with very subtle glitter. It's similar to the three shades next to it, Coral Dream, Dusty Rose, and Mocha. Coral Dream is a midtone coral pink with a matte finish. It's similar to Mocha, but it's more orange than pink. Dusty Rose is a medium warm pink with shimmer. It is like Coral Dream, but it has a different formula and has shimmer. Mocha is a medium warm pink with a matte finish. It's similar in color to Dusty Rose but is more pigmented and matte. Desert Rose is a darker warm pink with a matte finish. It's decently darker than any of the other pinks. It looks close to Pinched in the swatches, but in real life Desert Rose is much darker. Pinky is a midtone cool pink with a matte finish. It's not too similar to the other ten colors. Cinnamon is a bright orange with a matte finish. It's quite a bit different than Terra Cotta and isn't even close to any of the other shades. Terra Cotta is a light peachy bronze with a sheen. It's not close in color to any of the other ten blushes. Taupe is a matte light brown. This would be a great color for contouring lighter skin, but the pigmentation is just not there. Since the formula isn't completely consistent across the range of colors, I will talk about the formula of each of the blushes. Although some shades have different textures, they all blend very easily. Mauve has a smooth texture and nice pigmentation, but needs to be built up a bit since it's such a light color. Peach's formula is a bit softer than Mauve and has great pigmentation. Pinched has a formula like Peach and is even more pigmented. Coral Dream also has a very nice formula and pigmentation. Dusty Rose does not have a good formula, which I haven't seen much of from this line. It feels extremely dry and needs to be built up. Mocha has a really nice formula and is quite pigmented. Desert Rose has a smooth texture and is extremely pigmented. Pinky is very similar to Desert Rose in formula, it is also very smooth and pigmented. Cinnamon follows the past two, having amazing pigmentation and a soft formula. Terra Cotta's texture is a bit drier than the past three, but it is really pigmented and glides onto the skin. Taupe is also a disappointment from the line. I even exchanged the first one I bought and still got the same super dry formula that is lacking in pigmentation. XOX ♥
Price: $5.49 * Buy At: Target * Size: 0.15 oz / 4.2 g The Maybelline Color Sensational Vivids Lipstick in Brazen Berry (905) is a warm purple with a pink tone. The Maybelline Vivids Lipsticks have a neon orange lid, that doesn't let you see the product inside, but the sticker on the bottom is the color of the lipstick. Like the other Vivids I've tried, Brazen Berry smells like play-doh, which I'm not crazy about. Brazen Berry is pigmented, but it isn't opaque, which I really like. It gives a really nice finish and makes the color more wearable. These lipsticks aren't the creamiest, but this does make the color last longer on the lips and it helps the product to not feather or bleed outside the lip lines. They are mildly moisturizing, so I would suggest wearing a similar colored gloss over it if slightly dry lipsticks bother you. XOX ♥
Although it's not cold where I live quite yet, fall is coming and I love red violet shades during this time! I recently got the Sleek iDivine Palette in Vintage Romance and since it focuses on red violet shades, I thought that this look would be perfect! To see my review, photos and swatches of this palette, click HERE. How To | Step by Step Picture TutorialI started off the look (after primer of course) by applying the warm, matte brown (Propose in Prague) into the crease with a Sigma E25 blending brush. I applied it all the way from the outer to the inner corner of my eyes and I also applies it under my eyes with a Coastal Scents pencil brush. I also used a Coastal Scents detail brush and a white from the Lorac AfterGLO palette to highlight the inner corner of my eyes. I used two different colors for my crease. With a Coastal Scents crease brush, I applied a semi-matte red violet (A Vow in Venice) all over the crease. I used a darker red violet (Forever in Florence) with the Sigma E47 just on the outer corner to add depth. I used the same darker red violet shade and a Sephora flat liner brush to apply it right under the waterline. I used four different shades from the Vintage Romance palette on the lid. On the very inner corner I used the metallic silver, Pretty in Paris. On the outer corner I used a shimmery red violet, Marry in Monte Carlo. Next to the red violet I used a metallic golden brown, Lust in LA and I used a metallic gold, Meet in Madrid in between the brown and the silver. I also touched up the brown in the crease a bit and blended it out with the Sigma E40. I wanted to keep this look more wearable, so I didn't use my typical liquid liner. Instead, I used a black shadow, Love in London, to add a very subtle line to the top lashline. I used the Nyx Wonder Pencil in the waterline and used the Urban Decay Perversion Mascara and the CK One Mascara on my top and bottom lashes.
