Price: $49 * Buy At: Ulta * Size: 8 x 0.02 oz The Urban Decay Moondust Palette The Urban Decay Moondust Palette has gorgeous silver shimmery packaging, with Moondust engraved. The shimmer isn't rough--it feels just like any other plastic palette. I was very hesitant to buy this palette because each shade is less than half the size of a regular eyeshadow, and the $50 is comparably high for an eight shadow palette. However, I kept swatching the shades everytime I saw the palette in store, so I finally caved. I figured I wouldn't use the palette all that often, but I have been finding myself going back to this palette day after day, to add a pop of color in an eye look or simply as an all-over lid shade. The Moondust shadows have a very unique finish. They are shimmery shades, but not in a metallic way. The best way I can describe how they look is wet. The shadows have a dry texture, so I pretty much always apply them with my finger. The pigmentation is great, and uniform across the eight colors. I can also say that the shadows in this palette are consistent with the Moondust single shadows from Urban Decay. I got hooked on the formula with Midnight Cowboy, and now my love continues. Although I think the price should be cut by at least $10, I do really love this palette and honestly would probably purchase the sequel if Urban Decay released one. XOX ♥
