The Lorac Unzipped Cheek Palette & Alter Ego Lipstick Set contains a four blush palette and an Alter Ego lipstick. Underrated is a matte muted rose,
Unashamed is a bright cool toned pink, Unapologetic is a shimmery rosy bronze and Unimaginable is a shimmery light pink. Girl Next Door (the lipstick) is a yellow based pink with a matte finish.
The blush palette comes in a thin, white cardboard package that is very travel friendly, but is sure to get dirty. All four blushes have a smooth and soft texture, but not quite as soft as the Lorac eye shadows. The matte blushes in this palette really blew me away. Not only are they not at all chalky, they are intensely pigmented, I didn't have to build them up at all to get the opacity in the swatch photos. I actually have to apply all of the colors with a light hand to keep them from being too intense on the cheeks. Luckily, all four blushes are super easy to blend out. I really like the color combination within the palette, the four shades are all quite different from each other, giving a nice variety to choose from. I think the palette is a pretty good deal on its own, but it is made even better with the Alter Ego Lipstick. Girl Next Door has really nice color payoff and feels comfortable on the lips, despite being matte. I probably wouldn't wear Girl Next Door with any of the blushes from the palette since the color doesn't really correspond with any of the blushes, but I really like that this was included and I had been wanting to try out this line of lipsticks anyway. Once again, Lorac did a great job and I would suggest this to anyone, no matter their skintone.

The Nyx High Voltage Lipstick in Flawless is a light cool toned nude with a balmy finish.
The Nyx High Voltage Lipsticks come in a thin tube with a clear lid. The product inside is decently smaller than a typical lipstick, which I find much easier to get a precise application, especially since I have smaller lips. The formula of Flawless is very smooth and it glides effortlessly onto the lips. Typically really smooth lipsticks feel like they will slide around on the lips, but I find Stone to stay on the lips very well. On the lips, it feels like a cross between a moisturizing balm and a lightweight lipstick, making it very comfortable to wear. This isn't a super long-wearing lipstick, but it is really quick and easy to reapply throughout the day, so it doesn't bother me. Formula wise, the High Voltage Lipsticks are somewhat similar to Nyx's Butter Lipsticks, but I like this line a lot more. Flawless's pigmentation isn't too intense, but it is easy to build up to an opaque look. Taupe toned neutrals are getting pretty popular, and I personally love them on me since I have cool toned skin.
The Urban Decay Naked 2 Palette has some of my favorite cool toned neutral shades, so I mostly used shadows from that palette for this look. I think this look is very flattering for cool skin tones and would work great with all eye colors. You could add more eyeliner or darken up the crease to make it a night look, but I personally would wear this during the daytime.
How To | Step by Step
For the base of this look, I used the Tarte SmolderEYES Liner in Taupe. This color came in a holiday set and is not available individually, but you could also use something like the Maybelline Color Tattoo in Tough As Taupe as the base for this look.
In the crease, I applied a matte taupe (Tease from the Urban Decay Naked 2 Palette) with a Sigma E25 brush. To add a bit more definition, I mixed the taupe with a darker brown (Snakebite from UDN2) and applied it in the crease with a Sigma E47.
I went back in with the same Tarte liner on my lower lashline to match the lid. To give the taupe a frostier finish, I applied a frosty taupe (YDK from UDN2) with a Coastal Scents Shader Brush all over the lids. I also added a very subtle ivory highlight to the inner corners (Foxy from UDN2).
I added a bit of Tease to my lower lashline to blend out the Tarte liner and also added the Nyx Jumbo Eye Pencil in Milk to the waterline. I went pretty light with the liner for this look, just creating a thin line with the Nyx Collection Noir Powder Black Liner.
I curled my lashes and applied the Jordana Best Lash Extreme Mascara, as well as the Maybelline Colossal Cat Eyes Mascara to my top and bottom lashes to finish off the look.

The Nyx Tinted Brow Mascara in Espresso is a medium dark cool toned brown colored brow gel.
The Tinted Brow Mascara has a fairly small wand, but it could still be a bit big for someone with thin brows. I haven't found the wand to every clump up with product, which is really nice. The product only attaches itself to the brow hairs and not to the surrounding skin, which makes application really quick and simple. On me, the brow gel holds my brows in place all day with out looking or feeling crunchy. Depending on the pressure you use, this brow gel can add a subtle tint to the brows, or fill them in pretty opaque. Espresso is a pretty good match for me, since my brows are naturally lighter than my hair color, and I really enjoy this product!

The Rimmel Provocalips 16 HR Kiss Proof Lip Colour in Make Your Move is a warm medium coral red liquid lipstick.
The Provocolips 16 HR Kiss Proof Lip Colour is a two step lip product. It comes in a pretty thin tube with an opaque matte lip cream on one side and a gloss that locks in the color on the other. The Step 1 side applies very opaque and evenly to the lips. It dries to a matte finish pretty quickly and feels pretty sticky once it has dried. Unfortunately, I would not be able to wear the step 1 side by itself. The Step 2 side is more like a gel than a gloss, it has a pretty thick formula, so I had to dip the wand back into the product three times to fully cover my lips. When worn together, it gives a balmy shine and it feels quite nice on the lips. It doesn't feel thick on the lips and the gloss is not sticky at all. After about an hour, the glossy shine is gone, but what is left behind is an intense lip stain that will not go away. I wore this product for eight hours before I noticed any type of fading, and I had to use makeup remover to get it off my lips. The color does not budge at all and lasts amazingly well through drinking and eating. I am extremely impressed by the longevity of this product and would suggest it to anyone.
