Price: $30 * Buy At: Ulta * Size: 0.42 oz (blush) & 0.12 oz (lipstick) The Lorac Unzipped Cheek Palette & Alter Ego Lipstick Set contains a four blush palette and an Alter Ego lipstick. Underrated is a matte muted rose, Unashamed is a bright cool toned pink, Unapologetic is a shimmery rosy bronze and Unimaginable is a shimmery light pink. Girl Next Door (the lipstick) is a yellow based pink with a matte finish. The blush palette comes in a thin, white cardboard package that is very travel friendly, but is sure to get dirty. All four blushes have a smooth and soft texture, but not quite as soft as the Lorac eye shadows. The matte blushes in this palette really blew me away. Not only are they not at all chalky, they are intensely pigmented, I didn't have to build them up at all to get the opacity in the swatch photos. I actually have to apply all of the colors with a light hand to keep them from being too intense on the cheeks. Luckily, all four blushes are super easy to blend out. I really like the color combination within the palette, the four shades are all quite different from each other, giving a nice variety to choose from. I think the palette is a pretty good deal on its own, but it is made even better with the Alter Ego Lipstick. Girl Next Door has really nice color payoff and feels comfortable on the lips, despite being matte. I probably wouldn't wear Girl Next Door with any of the blushes from the palette since the color doesn't really correspond with any of the blushes, but I really like that this was included and I had been wanting to try out this line of lipsticks anyway. Once again, Lorac did a great job and I would suggest this to anyone, no matter their skintone. XOX ♥
