The Real Techniques Starter Set comes with 5 eye brushes as well as a 2-in-1 carrying case & brush stand. All the brushes have a purple handle that say Real Techniques by Samantha Chapman on one side & the brush's name on the other. They also have a black base. All of the brushes are very soft and silky and I haven't noticed fall out from the brushes. Deluxe Crease BrushThe Deluxe Crease Brush is my favorite out of the set. Despite it being a larger brush, it applies crease color perfectly and blends great. Although, I don't think this brush would work for really small eyes or eyes that are very close to the eye brows, since it's a larger brush. Base Shadow BrushThe Base Shadow Brush is a typical rounded shadow brush intended to apply color all over the lid. This brush isn't very dense, so it doesn't apply a very opaque color to the lid, but more of just a medium wash of color. Brow BrushThe Brow Brush is a thick, angled brush that is best for applying brow powder. You could use it for eyeliner, but it would create a thick line. I'm not the biggest fan of this brush, since it's thick it doesn't create the most natural looking brow. I would suggest this brush for people that like to heavily fill in their eye brows. Pixel Point Eyeliner BrushThe Pixel Point Eyeliner Brush is very interesting. it's a long, dense brush that is on the thicker side for eyeliner. I like to use the side of this brush to create a soft line on my upper lid with eye shadow & I like to use the tip of the brush to put shadow along my lower lash line. Accent BrushThe Accent Brush is a really tiny, short rounded shadow brush. I find that this brush does a great job at applying highlight shadows in the inner corner. XOX ♥

Price: $9 * Buy At: Ulta * http://realtechniques.com/shop-collection/your-finish-perfected/blush-brush Real Techniques has earned their way to my favorite brand of makeup brushes. Today, I have the Real Techniques Blush Brush to share with you! The Real Techniques Blush Brush is very silky and soft and is larger than other blush brushes. Due to the size of the brush, you could even use it as a smaller all-over powder brush. Something important to know about this brush is that it isn't very dense. So, this brush will not work very well with blushes that aren't very pigmented. However, a brush like this is great for really bright, really dark, really pigmented or loose powder blushes.
XOX ♥ Price: $18 Buy At: Ulta Real Techniques' Website: http://realtechniques.com/shop-collection/on-location/travel-essentials The KitIn this kit by Real Techniques, you get 3 full sized brushes and a case. The brushes included are the Multi Task Brush, Essential Foundation Brush & Domed Shadow Brush. These brushes are the same as the single brushes, except that the end of the brushes don't "flare" out, which I find makes it easier to store and bring for travel. The case is fairly durable and fits the 3 brushes and leaves spots for 2 more brushes. You can also make the case stand up on a counter, which I really like. Do this by bending the case back and tightening the string that goes through the "spine" of the case. Multi Task BrushThe Multi Task Brush is pretty much a small powder brush. It looks very similar to the Blush Brush from the line of single brushes. The Multi Task brush is great for travelling. Like it's called, it can do multiple things. It can be used to apply powder, blush & bronzer. Essential Foundation BrushNext in this kit is the Essential Foundation Brush. It's the basic paintbrush style brush, but, it's a little smaller than other ones. This brush is quite dense and really silky. I would have opted for another shadow brush or a liner brush in a travel kit instead of this one, but it's a nice brush anyway. Domed Shadow BrushThe last brush in this kit is a rounded tip fluffy brush. It's not too dense, so you can blend with it, but it's not too fluffy & can apply color. This brush is great for multiple uses on the eye making it ideal for travel. You can use this to apply lid color, crease color, highlight or blend. Another job well done by Real Techniques. These brushes are soft and don't loose the bristles. Well worth the money.
XOX ♥ PRODUCT INFORMATION Price: $12 Buy At: Sigma On Sigma's Website: http://www.sigmabeauty.com/product_p/e40.htm This spring has been a time of firsts for me! Now I've moved on to getting my first Sigma brush. I've been wanting another crease brush so I ordered the E40 Tapered Blending Brush. According to Sigma's website, the E40 has a soft, fluffy, rounded tip made of natural bristles. It's purpose is a soft, blended crease created by using the tip to apply color, sweep back and forth through the crease for a diffused and blended finish. I think it's a great brush for the crease! It applies a nice amount of color and is very easy to blend with. The Sigma E40 has pretty soft bristles, but, not the softest I've ever had. I'm also sad to say that I lost quite a few bristles while washing this brush. This brush also has a thicker handle then most brushes. It reminds me much more of a paint brush than other eye brushes I have or have used. The handle features a silver Sigma logo, the name of the brush and USA. Overall, I like the brush, but I don't think it's as amazing as everyone makes the Sigma brushes sound. I also don't think this brush was worth $12.

It is a pretty small brush, but, the powder brush is also really big. The Expert Face Brush is a short, round brush with lots of bristles. This one is soft too, just not as soft as the powder brush. Here I pressed the brush into the floor to show how dense it is. If you saw the post about the powder brush you'll know that that brush is not dense at all, making it perfect for powder. This brush is quite dense making it nice for contouring, blending foundation, blending concealer and building up sheer blush. It's a great multitasking brush perfect for any makeup collection. I really love this brush, it's great for everything on the face! I hope to try out more brushes from Real Techniques soon!

I haven't lost any bristles yet while using them to apply powder or while washing them. This is a fairly large powder brush, as you can tell when it's compared to my hand. This makes applying setting powder super easy and quick. This brush even looks soft in pictures. I'm planning on getting one soon, but I don't have Sigma brushes to compare these to. But, by my standards this brush is really silky soft. I pressed the brush into the floor to show how not dense it is. This brush has a lot of bristles, but isn't dense which makes it easy to apply powder without moving your foundation or concealer. XOX ♥
