Price: $6 * Buy At: Ulta * Size: 0.14 oz / 4 g The Nyx Powder Blush in Dusty Rose is a warm pink powder blush with a bit of a reddish undertone. Dusty Rose comes in a black plastic compact with a clear lid that allows you to see the product's color. Dusty Rose is not the most pigmented blush, so it is a great choice for fair to medium skin tones. Dusty Rose has a slightly reddish tint to it which makes it look very natural and "flushed" on the cheeks. Dusty Rose is not chalky and applies and blends very nicely. XOX ♥

Price: $5.99 * Buy At: Ulta * Size: 0.14 oz / 4 g The Nyx Powder Blush in Pinky is a bright, cool toned pink with a matte finish. The Nyx Powder Blushes come in black plastic packaging with a clear lid, the hinge on the lid does wear out after a lot of use, but that is to be expected with packaging on inexpensive products. Pinky is one of the most pigmented blushes that I have tried from Nyx and since it is a bright pink, I would suggest using a light hand or a brush that isn't too dense if you have lighter skin. The pigmentation makes Pinky a great option for people with darker skin tones, especially cool toned ones. Pinky also applies and blends out really nicely, which allows you to blend it out if you applied too much of this bright color. XOX ♥
Price: $5 * Buy On: Nyx's Website * Size: 4 g / 1.4 oz The Nyx Powder Blush in Taupe is a matte taupe blush that is a great contour color for people with fair skin. Taupe is nicely pigmented, but not too pigmented so you can have a controlled contour. I like to use Taupe with my Real Techniques Contour Brush to contour my cheeks & nose. Taupe blends out really nicely, making it easy to avoid a harsh brown line on your face. XOX ♥
I thought I would do some "overall favorites" posts and I am starting off with pink blushes! I wanted it to just be a fave 5, but I couldn't get my self to leave one of these six blushes out of my favorites! First of my favorite pink blushes is the Nyx Powder Blush in Peach. This was my first Nyx Blush and it really shows its age! Peach is a cool toned pink, not really peachy at all. Next is Deep Throat from Nars. Deep Throat is a peachy pink blush with a little bit of shimmer and looks very natural on the cheeks. Another one of my favorite pink blushes is Mocha, another Nyx Powder Blush. Mocha is a darker pink and has more of a red tone to it. Next up is the Maybelline Dream Bouncy Blush in Pink Plum. Pink Plum is a nice neutral toned pink and it has the coolest texture to it! After this blush is the Tarte Amazonian Clay Blush in Amused, a cool toned pink. Amused is a beautiful color and lasts all day on me. Lastly is another Nyx blush, but this time, the Rouge Cream Blush. This one is in the shade Natural. Natural is a pink with a red undertone and a glossy finish (it goes away once blended out). I like this blush because it is the most waterproof out of my blushes due to the cream formula. XOX ♥
Price: $6.44 * Buy At: Target * Size: 5.6 g / 0.19 oz The Maybelline Dream Bouncy Blush in (60) Coffee Cake is a neutral peachy blush with an interesting cream to powder formula. Despite the boring, brownish look in the pan, Coffee Cake is a nice peachy orange color. Coffee Cake has no visible shimmer or glitter, which is what I look for in a blush. The Dream Bouncy blushes have a cream-to-powder formula. The blush in the pan is squishy, which I think feels really cool. For me, the best way to apply these blushes is with your finger and blended out with a dense brush (like Real Techniques Expert Face Brush). Coffee Cake blends out effortlessly, but can also be built up to work on darker skin. Coffee Cake is not waterproof, but, I find it to be more water resistant than most blushes. XOX
Price: $5.99 * Buy At: Ulta * Size: 0.14 oz / 4 g The Nyx Powder Blush in Mauve is a soft pink blush. The Nyx Powder Blushes come in black plastic compacts with a clear lid, which allows you to see the color of the blush. Due to the inexpensive price, the packaging is not the best quality and the hinge of the lid can get weak and the Nyx on the lid eventually rubs off. Mauve is not the most pigmented Nyx blush which makes it a great soft and natural pink for fair or light skin tones. The swatches were built up a bit. Mauve's pigmentation is even and not at all chalky. Using a dense or fluffy brush, the blush nicely blends out on the cheeks for a subtle cheek color. I really love this color, but if you have darker skin, Mauve may not be for you. XOX ♥
Price: $6 * Buy At: Ulta * Size: 0.14 oz / 4g The Nyx Powder Blush in Mocha is a matte medium tone warm pink blush. Like all of the Nyx Powder Blushes, Mocha comes in a black plastic compact with a clear lid, which I quite like because it allows you to easily distinguish between colors without opening it or looking at the name. Since the blush is inexpensive, the packaging is as well. After using and opening these blushes a lot, the lid's hinge can get very weak and eventually fall off, you could always depot these if that happens, though. Mocha has really great pigmentation and is not chalky despite the matte finish. Due to the pigmentation and the slightly darker pink color, Mocha would work on darker skin tones as well. If you are fair like me, I suggest using a blush brush that isn't super dense to avoid applying too much. Mocha is very smooth in texture, it doesn't have a buttery or creamy feel to it, but as I mentioned before, it isn't chalky at all. XOX ♥
Price: $6.44 * Buy At: Target * Size: 5.6 g / 0.19 oz The Maybelline Dream Bouncy Blush in Hot Tamale is a red-pink cream-to-powder blush with a satin finish. The Dream Bouncy blushes have a squishy texture to them that I really like. Due to this cream-like texture, I find the best way to apply the blush is with your fingers and then blending it out with a dense brush. The texture of this blush also makes it stay exactly where you apply it, so be careful. Hot Tamale was water resistant, but not waterproof. XOX ♥
Price: $12.49 * Size: 20g / 0.68 oz * Buy At: Superdrug (UK) or Sleek's Website (US): http://www.sleekmakeup.com/face/contouring/face-form-contour The Sleek Face Form line features a contour, highlight & blush shade made for your skin tone. It also has a large mirror in the lid. I love all-in-one palettes like this for travelling! All the shades in the Sleek Face Form are gorgeous and very pigmented. I didn't have a problem with any of them being chalky at all. First, the Sleek Face Form in light has a medium warm brown that is matte for contouring. Despite the fact that it's matte, is very smooth and not the slightest bit chalky. Next, is the highlight shade. It's a pale ivory color with finely milled glitter. The highlighting shade is very pigmented, but could look like a natural glow when applied with a light hand. The blush shade is my favorite. It may be the prettiest blush shade I've ever seen. If you are interested in it, it can be purchased separately and is in the shade rose gold. It's a gorgeous rosy pink with gold shimmer that is more noticeable in some light than others. SwatchesXOX ♥
Price: $6.44 * Buy At: Target * Size: 5.6 g / 0.19 oz The Maybelline Dream Bouncy Blush in Peach Satin is a coral orange blush & the Maybelline Dream Bouncy Blush in Pink Plum is a mauve pink. The interesting thing about these blushes is that they are squishy. They aren't really "bouncy" like the name suggests, but it has a really cool squishy feel like the Tarte Airblush Maracuja Blush. This formula makes it difficult to apply straight out of the pan with a brush, so I suggest dotting the product on your cheeks with your finger and then blend it out with a dense brush. The Dream Bouncy Blushes are not sheer, but they also aren't the most pigmented blushes on the market. Since they have a cream to powder formula, they can be built up for a more intense color payoff. I don't believe these blushes are marketed as water resistant, but I found that they lasted pretty well in the pool!
