For the base of this nail art, I painted my index, ring, and pinky nail with a nude polish. I used Zoya Kennedy since it is very close in color to my skin. On my middle finger and thumb, I applied Orly Peaceful Opposition, which is a sheer white with tons of silver glitter. You could get a similar look by applying a silver top coat over a sheer white or nude base. I applied this same polish on the top half of my pinky nail as well. Using a white striper from Sinful Colors, I drew on two diagonal stripes on my index finger. On my ring finger, I drew one diagonal stripe (facing the opposite direction) and added some vertical lines attached to it. To separate the two polishes on my pinky nail, I also added a horizontal line with the same striper. To finish the look, I went over all the nails with the Out The Door Top Coat. XOX ♥
Price: $2.49 * Buy At: Target * Size: 0.4 fl oz The Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear Nail Color in Big Teal is a semi-bright aqua with no shimmer or glitter. The color is quite similar to Essie In The Cab-ana, which is one of my favorite polishes. As I have experienced with other polishes from the Xtreme Wear line, Big Teal has a very opaque formula that covers the nail evenly. On my nails is two coats of Big Teal. XOX ♥
Sometimes I will use a nude polish as a base for my french manicure, but I did not in this case. Instead, I just applied the Nail Tek Foundation II base coat to all of the nails. For the french tips, I used my go to white polish, OPI Alpine Snow. I just freehanded the tips, but you could always use some tape to ensure a straight (or curved, if you prefer) line. Once the white had dried, I went in with my red and blue stripes, coming from the corner. I used a red striper polish from LA Colors and In Prompt Blue by Sally Hansen. Using Don't You Wish from Pure Ice, I applied an iridescent top coat just over the french tips and the red and blue stripes, but you could use the glitter all over the nail too. I finished with the Nail Tek Intensive Therapy II top coat. XOX ♥
