Sometimes I will use a nude polish as a base for my french manicure, but I did not in this case. Instead, I just applied the Nail Tek Foundation II base coat to all of the nails. For the french tips, I used my go to white polish, OPI Alpine Snow. I just freehanded the tips, but you could always use some tape to ensure a straight (or curved, if you prefer) line. Once the white had dried, I went in with my red and blue stripes, coming from the corner. I used a red striper polish from LA Colors and In Prompt Blue by Sally Hansen. Using Don't You Wish from Pure Ice, I applied an iridescent top coat just over the french tips and the red and blue stripes, but you could use the glitter all over the nail too. I finished with the Nail Tek Intensive Therapy II top coat. XOX ♥
