Price: $8.50 * Buy At: Ulta * Size: 0.6 fl oz (full size) The Orly Nail Lacquer in Key Lime Twist is a light neon yellow green. Key Lime Twist is a part of the Sugar High collection. Many neon polishes tend to be on the streaky side, but this one actually has a really nice formula! It is actually quite similar in color to Glowstick (also by Orly) but it's formula is so much better and the color is a bit more pastel. On my nails is two coats of Key Lime Twist. XOX ♥
Price: $8.50 * Buy At: Beauty Brands * Size: 0.46 fl oz The Essie Nail Lacuqer in Chillato is a bright pastel yellow green with no shimmer or glitter. Chillato is a part of Essie's summer collection for 2015. Colors like this often do not have the best of formulas, but Chillato's formula is actually pretty nice. It applies pretty opaque and is only slightly patchy, but it tends to even out. On my nails is two coats of Essie Chillato. XOX ♥
Price: $8.50 * Buy At: Target * Size: 0.5 fl oz The Essie Nail Lacquer in Stylenomics is a blackened green with no shimmer or glitter. The formula of Stylenomics is pretty close to the rest of the Essie polishes that I have. It is thin, but opaque and it dried quicker than the average polish. Although it has good color payoff, I wouldn't describe it as inky, as I tend to find with dark polishes like this one. On my nails is two coats of Stylenomics. XOX ♥
Price: $9 * Buy At: Ulta * Size: 0.5 fl oz Zoya Yuna described as a warm grey with copper and gold shimmer. It's a tough color to describe; the base is on the neutral side, but it definitely has a blue green tone as well. Yuna is a part of the Ignite collection for Fall 2014. Yuna has a thin and easy to apply formula and the glitter was easy to spread all over the nails. I used two coats of Yuna in the swatch photos. XOX ♥
Price: $7.50 * Buy At: Ulta * Size: 0.5 fl oz / 14 mL The China Glaze Nail Lacquer in Shore Enuff is a bright medium-light green with a cream finish. It's not quite a neon, but it has the semi-matte finish of one. The polish also had a very quick dry time, similar to many neon colors. It was a bit sheer, but it applied evenly to the nails. In my opinion, this color looks much prettier in the bottle and even in the swatch pictures than it does in real life. On my nails, Shore Enuff looks like a true grass green and it's just not very flattering. I applied three coats of Shore Enuff to all the nails and applied a shiny top coat over the ring finger. Price: $8 * Buy At: * Size: 0.46 fl oz / 13.5 ml Essie Naughty Nautical is a green teal with shimmer. The shimmer isn't super noticeable on the nails, however. It's formula is not too thick or too thin and applies very evenly to the nails. One coat wasn't quite opaque, so I used two for the swatch pictures. XOX ♥
Price: $9 * Buy At: Zoya's Website * Size: 0.5 fl oz The Zoya Nail Lacquer in Zuza is a shimmery blue green. Zuza's formula is perfect and super easy to work with, like most Zoya polishes are. Zuza was pretty opaque in one coat, but I used two coats in the swatches just to be sure. Zuza is quite self leveling and has a smooth appearance on the nails. It also had a fairly quick dry time. I have the whole collection of the limited edition Palm Beach Jellies collection from Sally Hansen. I have always swatches polishes on my nails, but since I have six polishes, I figured swatching on a nail wheel would be best. The collection includes Water Melon, Vitamin D-Light, Jell-ous?, Sea Through, Ice Tint and Grape Jelly. Since the polishes are jellies, they are sheer tints that give a gel look to the dried nails. They also blend together nicely, which makes a gradient effect super easy to achieve. Although they typically need to be built up, they all have a nice formula. They aren't thick or goopy and apply very evenly. I suggest using somewhat thick coats to achieve the most gel-like finish. 1 CoatOne coat gives a pretty, soft pastel look when applied over a white polish. Jell-ous? and Water Melon look a bit streaky with only one coat, but the other four do not. With one coat, all three pink shades look very similar, especially Jell-ous? and Water Melon. 2 CoatsThe colors become much more intense with two coats, and don't look nearly as pastel. Jell-ous? and Water Melon still had a bit of a streaky appearance, but it's not bad. 3 CoatsThe colors achieve a nice opacity with three coats. They all give off a nice glossy finish and all have evened out. The three pinks still look quite similar, but Vitamin D-light is warmer than the other two and Jell-ous? is darker than Water Melon.
XOX ♥ Price: $2.49 * Buy At: Target * Size: 0.4 oz / 11.8 ml The Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear Nail Polish in Mint Sorbet is a pastel mint creme. Like most of the Xtreme Wear polishes, Mint Sorbet has a very opaque formula and only needed two coats to be completely opaque, although you might be able to get away with one. Mint Sorbet's formula is slightly thick, but I still think that it has an average dry time. XOX ♥
Price: $10 * Buy At: Ulta * Size: 0.5 fl oz / 15 ml The Pop Beauty Nail Glam Nail Polish in Loud Lime is a neon lime green that leans slightly yellow. Unlike many neon polishes, Loud Lime dries to a shiny finish. Loud Lime's formula was pretty good, it wasn't patchy or sheer but did take three coats to get what you are seeing in the swatch photos.
