The Essie Nail Lacquer in Good As Gold is a metallic champagne gold. Good As Gold's formula was fairly thin, so I found it easiest to apply in thicker coats. Good As Gold dried pretty quickly, even though I used thick coats. It has great coverage and gives the prettiest metallic glow on the nails. Shown on my nails is two coats of Good As Gold.

The Milani Nail Lacquer in Golden Romance is a shimmery, gold champagne base with larger pieces of gold and pink glitter. Golden Romance is a part of Milani's nail polish collection for Spring 2014.
The brush of Golden Romance is the same as the others in the Milani line, it's a bit on the thin side, similar to the brush in Essie polishes. You can still see parts of the bare nail even with three coats of Golden Romance, but it isn't noticeable unless you really look at it. The glitter in Golden Romance looks really pretty over a white base. Weirdly enough, the gold in this polish looks like a mossy green color when over a black base. I used three coats of Golden Romance on the bare nails (index & middle) and one coat over the nails with a black and white base (pinky & ring).
