Price: $3.97 * Buy At: Walmart * Size: 0.5 fl oz / 14.7 ml The Revlon Nail Enamel in Sunshine Sparkle is a shimmery pale yellow. I am just going to come out right away and say that the formula of Sunshine Sparkle is awful. I have tried to swatch and photograph this color four times and it kept looking terrible. I'll admit that it still doesn't look great, but I was ready to be done messing with Sunshine Sparkle. Its formula is on the thinner side and is quite streaky and no matter how clean my nails were, this polish just made them look gross. The color is still not completely opaque, but I used four thicker coats of Sunshine Sparkle in the pictures. I am disappointed because the color is gorgeous, but the formula is just bad. XOX ♥
Price: $8 * Buy At: Zoya's Website * Size: 0.5 fl oz Zoya Kennedy is a pink nude with a little bit of a grey tint and a creme finish from the Feel collection, all the way back from winter 2011. This gorgeous color is still available on Zoya's website, and I just purchased it about a month ago. This color applies sheer and streaky with thin coats, something that I haven't expirienced from other Zoya polishes. With two coats or a thicker first coat, however, Kennedy evens out really nicely and is almost opaque. I used three coats in the photos to completely even out the streaks in the polish. XOX ♥
Here is the last of my Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear swatch spam. I have two other swatch spam posts which you can find HERE and HERE. To finish up, I have three metallic colors; Celeb City, Golden-I and Coin Flip. I find that these polishes have the best formula for a metallic/foil polish that I have tried. They were all opaque with two coats (Celeb City really only needed one) and they are not streaky at all. I really like these colors because they are still fairly neutral and just pop on the nails. Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear Swatch Spam | Fuchsia Power, Coral Reef, Mellow Yellow & Mint Sorbet1/4/2014
Price: $2.49 * Buy At: Target * Size: 0.4 fl oz Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear is one of my favorite brands of nail polishes because they are cheap, apply smoothly and are opaque with one or two coats. I have previously done a swatch spam post with my blues & purples from the line, which you can see HERE. The next four SHXM polishes in my collection are Mint Sorbet, Mellow Yellow, Coral Reef & Fuchsia Power. I used two coats of each polish and three coats of Mellow Yellow. Mint Sorbet is my favorite mint polish because it is so opaque without being too thick, I could have gotten away with just one coat. Mellow Yellow is a great choice for a classic yellow cream because you can get the intensity without a white base. This one was a bit thinner and streakier than the others, but looks just the same after three coats. Coral Reef was a little less full coverage, but opaque with two coats. Fuchsia Power performs much like Mint Sorbet. XOX ♥
