Price: $8.50 * Buy At: Orly's Website * Size: 0.6 fl oz / 18 ml Orly Miss Conduct is a magenta base filled with small holographic glitter. It was originally released in the 2012 Naughty or Nice collection, but is still available. Although it is a glitter, Miss Conduct has a very smooth feel to the dried nails and has a very opaque formula. The formula reminds me a lot of Zoya Dream. Only one coat of Miss Conduct is necessary, but I used two in the photos. XOX ♥
I have the whole collection of the limited edition Palm Beach Jellies collection from Sally Hansen. I have always swatches polishes on my nails, but since I have six polishes, I figured swatching on a nail wheel would be best. The collection includes Water Melon, Vitamin D-Light, Jell-ous?, Sea Through, Ice Tint and Grape Jelly. Since the polishes are jellies, they are sheer tints that give a gel look to the dried nails. They also blend together nicely, which makes a gradient effect super easy to achieve. Although they typically need to be built up, they all have a nice formula. They aren't thick or goopy and apply very evenly. I suggest using somewhat thick coats to achieve the most gel-like finish. 1 CoatOne coat gives a pretty, soft pastel look when applied over a white polish. Jell-ous? and Water Melon look a bit streaky with only one coat, but the other four do not. With one coat, all three pink shades look very similar, especially Jell-ous? and Water Melon. 2 CoatsThe colors become much more intense with two coats, and don't look nearly as pastel. Jell-ous? and Water Melon still had a bit of a streaky appearance, but it's not bad. 3 CoatsThe colors achieve a nice opacity with three coats. They all give off a nice glossy finish and all have evened out. The three pinks still look quite similar, but Vitamin D-light is warmer than the other two and Jell-ous? is darker than Water Melon.
XOX ♥ Price: $10.50 * Buy At: Sephora * Size: 0.4 fl oz / 12 ml The Formula X for Sephora Nail Color in Orbit is a deep blue teal with a creme finish. The formula of this polish is amazing, I can really understand why so many people have been loving this nail polish line. Orbit has a thin formula that applies opaque and evenly to the nails. I easily could have left the polish with one coat, but two coats were used in the photos. XOX ♥
Price: $4.99 * Buy At: CVS * Size: 0.45 fl oz / 13.2 ml The Milani Nail Lacquer in Colorful Coral is an orange coral with a creme finish. Colorful Coral is quite opaque, but a little streaky, so I used three coats in the photos. It also dried ridiculously fast, which is always something I look for in a polish. XOX ♥
Price: $10.50 * Buy At: Sephora * Size: 0.4 fl oz / 12 ml The Formula X for Sephora Nail Color in Heart-Stopping is a cool toned lilac with a creme finish. It is in the New Neutrals collection. Heart-Stopping has a great formula, it's pretty thin but still manages to be full coverage. This is a lighter color so it's not as opaque as darker shades I've tried from this line, but it's still completely opaque in two coats. I know this isn't the most unique shade of nail polish, but the formula is to die for! XOX ♥
Price: $9 * Buy At: Zoya's Website * Size: 0.5 fl oz Zoya Vanessa is a neutral dark red with a creme finish. Since Vanessa is dark, but not quite burgndy, it's a good year-round alternate for a classic red polish. Vanessa had a nice, thin formula and only needed two coats. XOX ♥
