My beauty favorites typically feature a lot of makeup products, but this month I haven't been using many new makeup products. Instead, I have a mixture of other beauty products, and still a couple makeup items as well. Sephora Double Ended Brush - Unfortunately this brush was discontinued years ago, but I've been using it so much that I can't not include it! One end is a very soft crease brush (like a tapered version of the Sigma E40) and the other end is a flat liner brush. I used to never use the liner side, but I've used both sides of the brush almost everyday this month.
Coastal Scents Precision Pencil Synthetic Brush - I have been using this brush on a daily basis ever since I got it. It works very well for applying shadow under the eyes without making it look harsh. Plus, the bristles don't irritate or hurt my eyes. Chella Ivory Lace Highlighter - This has been a favorite before, but I stopped using it for a while. I have been using a white liner in the waterline for a while , but I'm back to my obsession with this warm ivory color for my waterline. MAC Brown Script Eye Shadow - I got my first MAC eye shadow this month and am in love with it. The color is gorgeous and the formula and pigmentation is perfect. SuperNail Cuticle Oil - I'm trying to grow out my nails and more importantly, make them stronger. If you've seen my nail polish swatches, my middle and index fingernails are almost always shorter than my other nails and this is because those nails just don't grow well. When the nails do grow they always break, and using this cuticle oil (three times a day) has been helping strengthen my nails. Paul Mitchell Lite Detangler - For some reason my hair has been super tangly this month, so I was in need of a detangler. I've actually had this detangler for years, but haven't really needed it. It does a great job of making my hair easier to comb out. Mane n Tail Hair Strengthener Daily Leave-in Conditioner Treatment - I've been using this leave-in conditioner a ton this month! I spray the ends of my hair after I shower (when my hair is damp), and also whenever my hair is feeling dry. It helps keep the ends of my hair moisturized, which helps prevent my hair from breaking. Plus, I really like the product's scent. Coconut Oil (not pictured) - I'm sure you've heard of using coconut oil on your hair, and this month I gave it a chance. I'm currently testing out the inversion method to grow my hair out (there are plenty of videos about it on YouTube if you are curious) and I've been loving the results. While I haven't seen any noticeable hair growth yet (probably because I just got a trim), my hair just feels better and the ends of my hair feel thicker and stronger. XOX ♥
