Jordana Rose Silk Blush Powder - I absolutely love the Jordana Blush Powders (I have featured another shade in my favorites a few months ago) and this month the neutral mauve shade, Rose Silk has been one of my go to blush colors.
EcoTools Tapered Blush Brush - This is my first EcoTools brush and I am quite impressed. The bristles are soft and the shape of this brush allows it to easily apply blush, contour and highlight. Lorac AfterGLO Palette -This palette does feature mainly colors, but I have been getting a lot of use out of the three neutrals in this palette, the matte light brown, dark brown and white. They have an amazing formula and work great for an everyday eye look. Makeup Geek Barcelona Beach - I wasn't crazy about this shadow when I first got it, since it's just a basic taupe, but I have finally given it some love. Barcelona Beach is so easy to blend in the crease and the color works pretty well to fill in my brows. Makeup Geek Peach Smoothie - It took me a bit to fall for this shadow as well since it's not super noticeable on the eyes, but I have been using it as a transition shade and it blends out so easily and helps any crease color applied on top of it blend beautifully as well. Nyx Solstice Baked Blush - Although summer is coming to an end (although it's still in the eighties here), I have been loving this shimmery bronze cheek color this month. It gives the face a lovely glow and it works with almost all eye looks and lip colors. Benefit My Two Cents Creaseless Cream Shadow - I have been loving this shadow since I got it last year, but somehow it just never made it into a favorites post! This cream shadow has the best formula I've ever tried and lasts all day without creasing. XOX ♥

Lorac Pro To Go Palette - I put off buying this palette for a while and I know know for myself that the hype on this palette is right. The shadows are so buttery and easy to work with and the blushes are just as nice. I took this on a short trip and it was all I needed for shadow and cheek products.
Palmer's Cocoa Butter Formula Swivel Stick - This really isn't a very exciting product, but it gets results. This product can also be used on the skin and face, but I like to use it as a lip balm. My lips have been extremely dry to the point of peeling for the past few months and this is the only lip balm that seems to be helping. It has a very moisturizing feel & a nice scent. Real Techniques Setting Brush - Lately I've been using under eye concealer a lot more than I used to, so I needed a brush to set it. This brush is very soft and the size makes it a perfect fit for the under eye area. Urban Decay Perversion Mascara - I have the deluxe sample of Urban Decay's newest mascara, and I love it so much that I'm considering shelling out the money to buy the full sized tube. It glides through the lashes so easily and makes them look long and separated. Milani Power Periwinkle - I am in love with the color of this polish and it was on my toe nails for the entire month of August. It has a nice, easy to apply formula and is opaque with two coats. CVS Precision Tip Cotton Swabs - Something as simple as cotton swabs can really effect a makeup look and these are great! They are pretty stiff and pointed which is great for cleaning up liner or shadow. OPI Alpine Snow - White polishes tend to be goopy and thick, and I have never tried a white polish that is better than Alpine Snow. It applies just as good as any regular color, becoming opaque in two coats without the formula being goopy. Tarte beMATTEnificent Palette - I didn't use this palette a ton when I first got it, but I have used it a ton this month. The shadows in this palette are huge and have an amazingly buttery texture. It has the best ivory shadow I've ever used and I use it daily for an inner eye highlight, brow bone highlight, and even for brightening my under eye area. XOX ♥ |
