Price: $8 * Buy At: Ulta * Size: 15 mL / 0.5 fl oz Flynn from Zoya's Fall 2013 Cashmere Collection is a tan camel creme. Flynn had a nice formula and was opaque in 2 coats. Flynn wasn't thick and was on the thinner side of formulas. XOX ♥
Price: $8 * Size: 0.5 fl oz / 15 mL http://www.zoya.com/content/38/item/Zoya/Gray-Nail-Polish-Cream-Nail-Polish-Kristen-ZP591-Neutral-Nail-Polish.html Zoya Kristen is a blue-grey cream from Zoya's Feel collection from Winter 2011. I'm not sure if you can still find Kristen at Ulta, but you can buy it directly from Zoya. Kristen's formula is on the thin side, but it applied beautifully, opaque with two coats and not patchy at all. (You can see a little unevenness on my index finger, that isn't the polish's fault, my index finger nail is just uneven.) XOX ♥
Price: $8 * Size: 0.5 fl oz / 15 mL http://www.zoya.com/content/38/item/Zoya/Zoya-Nail-Polish-Marley.html Zoya Marley is a lilac-grey with a creme finish from Zoya's Intimate collection. I'm not sure if you can still find this polish at Ulta, but you can buy Marley directly from Zoya. Despite Marley being a light color with a sheen, it was easily opaque with two coats. Marley's formula isn't thick or thin and isn't patchy whatsoever. XOX ♥
Price: $3.97 * Buy At: Walmart * Size: 0.5 fl oz / 0.47 mL Revlon's Nail Enamel in Dreamer is a dusty blue-perriwinkle color that reminds me a lot of the very popular Essie Bikini So Teeny. Dreamer is on all the nails in the swatch photos, execpt for the ring finger, which is Essie Bikini So Teeny. Bikini So Teeny is lighter & brighter than Dreamer and also has very subtle shimmer in it, but they are somewhat dupes. Dreamer's formula was very thin, but not too streaky. Like most drugstore polishes, Dreamer began to wear on the tips after a day or two. It's a good polish and color overall, but in my opinion, I like the color of Essie Bikini So Teeny more than Dreamer if you are deciding between the two.
XOX Price: $2.49 * Buy At: Target * Size: 0.4 fl oz / 11.8 ml White On by Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear is a white cream in the Xtreme Wear's permanent display. I think that White On is a great choice for a bright, opaque white wether you like white polish on it's own, like I do, or if you need it for specific nail art. I also think this one is a great choice because it's very inexpensive. White On is best applied with medium to thick coats, but the formula is not goopy. One coat of White On was a little patchy in some places, so it took 2 coats to even the color out.
XOX ♥ Price: $2.99 * Buy At: Target * Size: 0.23 fl oz / 7 mL The Maybelline Color Show Nail Lacquer in Clearly Spotted is a clear polish with large black hexes, large white hexes & small black hexes. It applied pretty evenly and only took 2 coats to get to the look in the swatch. The clear base wasn't thick or goopy at all. Clearly Spotted adds a really cool effect to the nails, and I'm excited to test it out over other colors!
XOX ♥ Price: $3.47 * Buy At: Walmart * Size: 0.31 fl oz / 9.17 mL I know it's not fall or winter yet, but I realized that I don't have a burgendy nail polish and thought it would be perfect for my skin tone when the colder months arrive. Cinna-snap is a dark color, but red enough to work with lighter skin colors. I think it's very flattering on people with more reddish skin, but it would still look flattering on neutral or yellow skin. Cinna-snap was nicely opaque and you could get away with one coat because it applies evenly and not streaky, but I used 2 to make sure the color was completly even & opaque. The brush on all Sally Hansen Insta-Dri polishes is one of those wide and flat. This makes painting the middle of your nails very quick & easy, but it makes it more difficult to get the sides of your nails without accidently getting the polish on your fingers, especially when using your non dominant hand to paint.
