If you can't seem to figure out how to do all of the fancy braids, you may be getting a little bored of a typical 3 strand braid. Here, I have 3 ways to spice up a braid. (I did a dutch braid here- top left picture, instead of crossing pieces over the middle, cross under for an 'upside down' braid)
Flat Braid (Top Right): I really love how this braid looks! It's bohemian and is a great effortless beach hairstyle. All you need to to to achieve this braid, is to braid as usual and then pull on the sides until you get the desired thickness.
Pancake Braid (Bottom Left): This is very similar to the flat braid, just not as flat. To achieve the more calmed down braid, hold on both sides of the braid and gently tug on both sides.
Little Braid Combo (Bottom Right): Separate your hair in 3 chunks, as usual, but braid one of the strands. Then, braid as usual!
I will be posting more ways to spice up braids soon!
I saw this braid on Instabraid's Instagram account and knew I had to try it. I haven't seen any tutorials as to how to create this look, so, I thought I'd help you out!
Here, I added purple and blue lines to show which pieces are which. I think that once you figure this out, the braid is much easier. Let's get started:
I hope you enjoy this braid!
My blonde hair kept looking orange or yellow no matter what! So, I decided to go back to my roots (literally!) I went darker, in a similar color to my roots, this hopefully make it easier to maintain. In the picture it may not look like a huge difference, but, it is in real life!
Unlucky for me, I have fine, straight, hard to curl hair! I have recently discovered a product that helps me tremendously to curl my hair and I thought I'd share with you!
The product is . . . . . . . . HOT TOOLS SPONGY ROD ROLLERS!
