Price: $10.50 * Buy At: Cosmetic Company Outlet * Size: 0.1 oz The MAC Viva Glam Nicki 2 Lipstick is a white based lavender with an amplified formula. Since it's a part of the Viva Glam collection, the tube is black and red instead of black and silver. It is no longer available from MAC, but you can find it at the Cosmetic Company Outlet. Viva Glam Nicki 2 is very opaque and pigmented since it is an amplified formula, but it can also be sheered out easily for a more wearable look. Since it has a bit of a pink tone, I think that Nicki 2 is more wearable than a straight up purple lipstick and for me is a way to step out of my "lip color comfort zone". Since it's such a light color, I think it looks the best on fair or light skin, but since Nicki Minaj made this color, I'm sure it would also look good on darker skin. Viva Glam Nicki 2 has the same comfortable, moisturizing feel on the lips and the same vanilla scent as the permanent line of MAC lipsticks. XOX ♥

Price: $4.49 * Buy At: Ulta * Size: 1.5 g / 0.053 oz The Nyx Hot Singles Eye Shadow in Sin is a light, neutral pink shadow with a shimmery, almost metallic finish and tiny flecks of glitter. The Hot Singles Shadows come in a circular, black plastic package with a see through lid. Sin has great pigmentation, although its texture is on the dry side, due to the glitter. However, I don't experience any fallout with the glitter. It looks good on the lid when applied with a brush, but applying Sin with your finger gives off better pigmentation and more of a metallic look. Sin is almost an exact dupe for a shadow in the original Urban Decay Naked Palette, and they happen to have the same name (just a coincidence Nyx?) They have the same finish and are almost the exact same color, but I would say that the Urban Decay one is a bit cooler in tone than the Nyx shadow. The Urban Decay shadow also has a better, creamier formula, but when bought as a single shadow, costs about $13.50 more than this Nyx shadow. XOX ♥
Price: $3 * Buy At: Walmart The Elf Studio Small Stipple Brush is a short duo fiber brush that is cut flat across the top. The brush has a durable feeling handle that is an average length. The brush is dense enough to blend out product, but not too dense where you end up applying too much product. (FYI this brush is much denser than the Sigma F55 Small Duo Fibre Brush) I am really impressed with how this brush preformed! I dabbed the brush into a cream blush (from Nyx) and dotted it onto the cheeks. Once I got the product in the right place, I wiped off the brush and began blending. A mixture of circular and stippling motions worked great to perfectly blend out the color, not leaving any streaks, brush strokes or harsh lines. Although the brush is fairly small, I still think it works great for applying cheek color, and the size makes it perfect for applying a cream contour. It's a great brush, and at such an inexpensive price, it would be a great addition to any brush collection. XOX ♥
I usually use a fairly wide variety of products when creating eye looks, so today I decided to only use the Stila In The Know Palette for the eye shadow. I have reviewed and swatched this palette and that can be found HERE. How ToAfter priming my eyes with the Elf Eyelid Primer, I applied the matte grey shadow, Smoke, all over the lids, as well as lightly under the eyes. I like how brown looks with grey, so I chose to use browns in the crease. I started off with Clay, a light pink toned brown to use as my transition shade. To darken the crease, I used a more concentrated brush and a mix of Rain and Driftwood. I used a glitter white liner, the Sephora White Glitter Jumbo Liner, to highlight the inner corners and set it with Air, a cool toned cream. I decided to not use a liner for this look and instead used a small brush to smudge Ebony, a black, on my top lashline. Since this is a smoky look I chose to use a black liner in the tightline and waterline. I used a few coats of Maybelline The Rocket on the top and bottom lashes to finish off the look.
XOX ♥ Price: $2.99 * Buy At: Target * Size: 0.25 oz The EOS Honeysuckle Honeydew Smooth Sphere Lip Balm is a scented lip balm in a light green package. It's hard to place the scent exactly, but it reminds me of some kind of gum. Honeysuckle Honeydew is 100% natural and 95% organic in addition to being gluten, paraben, phthalate and petrolatum free. I am a big fan of the EOS lip balms and Honeysuckle Honeydew does not disappoint. It has a very smooth texture and a moisturizing feel, without being thick on the lips. XOX ♥
Price: $6.99 * Buy At: Target * Size: 0.17 oz / 5 ml The Maybelline Color Elixir in Petal Plush is a pale pink gloss with subtle shimmer. The Color Elixirs come in packaging that looks similar to a lipstick and they have a short wand with a doe foot applicator. Petal Plush has a nice formula that feels very comfortable on the lips. The product is a bit thick, but I find that it adds to the moisturizing feel. Although this shade has shimmer, it doesn't have a gritty feel. XOX ♥
Price: $5.49 * Buy At: CVS * Size: 4 g / 0.14 oz The Rimmel Lasting Finish by Kate Lipstick in 12 is a bright tomato red with a cream finish. The lipstick comes in a black tube with Kate's name written in red on the lid. Like the other colors in the Lasting Finish by Kate line, 12 applies smoothly to the lips and has a somewhat thin, creamy texture. It has an average lip product wear, lasting anywhere from 3 to 5 hours. 12 isn't quite a classic red since it has a warm undertone, and this kind of color is known for making teeth look yellow. If you can look past this or don't have an issue with these kinds of colors making your teeth appear yellow, 12 could be a great color for you. XOX ♥
Price: $5.99 * Buy At: Makeup Geek's Website * Size: 0.064 oz The Makeup Geek Pressed Eyeshadow Pan in Country Girl is a warm brown with subtle glitter. The Makeup Geek shadow pans can fit in a variety of palettes, mine are in a Coastal Scents palette. The formula of Country Girl is a bit dry, due to the glitter, but it has nice pigmentation and doesn't have a problem with fallout. The glitter doesn't really translate on the lids, so the color can work well in the crease as well as on the lids. Country Girl blends out very easily and gives a different look than a typical brown shadow. XOX ♥
Price: $5.95 * Buy At: Coastal Scents' Website The Coastal Scents Custom Palette: 12 Piece with Clear Lid is an empty 12 shadow palette with a clear plastic lid. Although this empty palette is made for the Coastal Scents Hot Pods eye shadow pans, the slots fit both MAC and Makeup Geek pan shadows. However, the website says that MAC shadows will not stick because of the magnet's polarity. As you can see in the photo above, Makeup Geek shadow pans magnetize just fine into the palette. This palette allows the pans to come out easily if you want to take it out. It has a durable feel and the lid snaps closed securely. XOX ♥
Price: $5.99 * Buy At: Makeup Geek's Website * Size: 0.064 oz The Makeup Geek Peach Smoothie Eye Shadow Pan is a light peachy tan shadow with a matte finish. The pan version of Peach Smoothie obviously doesn't have packaging, but is supposed to be put in a magnetic palette like the MAC palettes or Z-Palettes. Peach Smoothie has a very smooth and soft texture. I typically see and hear of this color being used as a transition color in the crease, since it is a light color. It also can work well in the crease because the shadow is quite easy to blend. Peach Smoothie does have good pigmentation, but I feel like I have to pack it on sometimes to notice the color, even though I have fair skin. Peach Smoothie can work as a subtle way to add a bit of color to a neutral look, and it also looks good with warm berry or burgundy shadows. XOX ♥
