Formula 10.0.6 Keep Your Cool Skin-Calming Gel Mask - My skin has been freaking out lately, and while this mask doesn't quite take care of the breakouts, it really works to calm them down and also calm down the redness on my face.
Nyx #16 Blending Brush - I had never really tried any Nyx brushes, so when I went to the Nyx store, I wanted to pick one up in person. This brush is amazingly soft and works great for both applying and blending out crease color. Hot Tools Spongy Rollers - I have been all about heat-free hair for about a year now, so I love using products like this to give the appearance of heat styled hair. I like to leave them in my hair for as long as I can, taking them out right before I leave, leaving me with either pretty curls or soft waves. Nyx Ultimate Palettes - I have never really been a fan of drugstore eyeshadows, but these palettes change that. They are up there in price as far as drugstore makeup goes, but still much more affordable than high end palettes. Both the palettes have great pigmentation and are super easy to blend out. XOX ♥

City Colour Contour Effects Palette - After loving a blush from City Colour, I wanted to give another product a try, and I was super impressed. All three shades in this trio have a smooth, creamy texture that is easy to blend on the skin. I have loved using the highlight shade especially from this palette; although it looks matte in the pan, it has a subtle sheen that adds a really pretty glow to the skin.
IT Cosmetics Airbrush Powder Blurring Brush - SInce I have dry skin, I don’t like to apply too much powder. Traditional powder brushes tend to apply too much for my liking, but this brush applies more of a sheer layer that doesn’t make my skin look cakey or even more dry. Nyx Extreme Gold Studio Liquid Liner - I love this liner because although it is gold, it is not glittery, and it looks really pretty and unique with some basic eye shadow. I think it’s a fun way to switch up typical dark liner, and it adds some interest to the eyes without being too out there. Rimmel Blue ScandalEyes Liner - This product was limited edition, but I have found myself reaching for it quite a bit this past month, since I reorganized some of my makeup. It gives the same effect to the eyes as a white liner, but it’s a bit softer, and really cancels out the peachy tones of the waterline. Tarte Lights, Camera, Lashes Mascara - I could tell that I liked this mascara the first time that I tried it. It gives my lashes thickness, volume, separation and length--I don’t know what else I could ask for from a mascara! XOX ♥ Wet n Wild 1 Step Gel in Power Outage - I love black nails, so this favorite is no surprise. I almost always have my toenails painted black; it is just super easy to maintain. This WnW polish is my new favorite black, it is thin, but opaque and has a nice shine.
The Body Shop Tea Tree Oil - I’ve been wanting to try out tea tree oil for a while for my face, and I finally picked some up. It has been helping with my acne, without drying out my already dry skin. My only gripe is that it seems to be running out faster than I would like, since it is on the pricier side. ColourPop Lunch Money Highlighter - Since I have not been setting my face with powder super often, I have been enjoying using a cream to powder highlight, like this one. I didn’t like it that much at first, but now that I have found a brush that works well at picking up and blending the product, I have liked using it on a daily bases for a somewhat subtle highlight on my cheekbones. Anastasia DipBrow Pomade in Taupe - I have loved the DipBrow Pomade for a while, but I just purchased the taupe shade this month. I’ve used it every day since I purchased it and I love everything about it--the color, the formula, the wear time… Zoeva Eye Finish Brush - This brush is great for applying dark shadows in the crease; it keeps it from getting too intense and blends even matte black shadows easily. I am also a huge fan of Zoeva brushes, so this one was bound to be a favorite. XOX ♥ Nars NARSissist Cheek Studio Palette - I have been wanting a Nars cheek palette for years, and I finally decided to splurge on the newest one! Let me say, I do not regret that purchase! I have been using this palette almost every day; I love the blushes, the contour and the bronzer. They are just so easy to apply and to blend out, something I always seem to find with Nars’s cheek products.
Wet n Wild Coming In Latte Studio Eyeshadow Palette - I wasn’t sure how much I would like this palette when I picked it up, but I was pleasantly surprised. I am not really a fan of drugstore eyeshadows, but this is finally a product that I think is worth picking up. The mattes are just amazing and the color scheme is great for everyday eye looks. Zoeva Face Focus Brush - I have been using this brush to highlight my cheekbones almost daily since I got it. It doesn’t apply too much or too little product and the size and shape of the brush allows me to apply the product right where I want it. Nyx Blonde Brow Gel - I know this has been a favorite in a past month, but I put it on the back burner for a while and I am now back to loving it! It gives me lighter brows than I typically go for, but I like to switch it up sometimes. The product is very smooth and easy to apply and provides a nice hold to the brow hairs, making an extra clear brow gel not necessary. Mac Myth Lipstick - I have always liked this lipstick, but it has taken a backseat for a while. I love how the color looks with my skintone and I just really like the formula of Mac’s satin lipstick. I prefer nude lips over a natural pink, so this kind of color is a go to everyday lipstick for me. XOX ♥ |
