I have finally worked out how to photograph my eyes and wanted to show you the look I am planning on wearing for Christmas. Keep reading to see what products I used and how I used them! (Yes, there are dry patches on my forehead and nose, I have dry skin and it is worse during the winter.) You can use any similar products you have to recreate this look, but here are the products I used: Nyx Jumbo Eye Pencil in Milk, Maybelline Color Tattoo in Bold Gold, Nyx Single Shadow in Glitter White, Half Baked & Bootycall from the UD Naked 2 Palette, Mauve, Espresso, Sable and Cream from the Lorac Pro Palette, Essence Super Fine Liner Pen, Sephora Nano Liner in Pure White, Rimmel Scandaleyes Liner in Black, Benefit They're Real Mascara, Maybelline Illegal Lengths Mascara, Maybelline The Rocket Mascara & Pixi Lash Booster Mascara. On my brows is the Elf Wet Gloss Brow & Lash Mascara and the Avon Brow Liner in Blonde. I used two different bases to start off this look, a white and gold. I put the white on the inner half of my lids and the gold on the outer half and let them set as I did my brows. Next I patted on a shimmery white shadow on the portion of my lid with the white base and a shimmery gold shadow on the portion with the gold base. Since the white and gold did not blend too well in the center of my lid, I used a light shimmery ivory with a peachy undertone where the two shadows met to blend the colors together. Next I moved onto the crease, I wanted a clean edge to the crease color, so I placed tape next to my eye to give a clean line. I used a light cool toned brown all over my crease as a transition shade and blended it out. I used a smaller crease blush and applied a medium brown shade all through out the crease. Lastly, I used a dark brown just on the outer third of my crease and finished out blending the crease with a little more of the light brown. I added a light ivory shade under my brow, as well. As with all my shadow looks, I finished this look off with liner and mascara. I used a black pen style liner to create a fairly thin line on most of my lid, stopping in the inner corner. Then I lined my tightline and waterline with a black pencil liner. I also added a white pencil liner in the inner corners and patted them with my finger to make the color not as stark. For my bottom lashes I used the Pixi mascara because it gives a more natural look which is what I like on my bottom lashes. For the top lashes I used three different mascaras, one coat of each, after curling them. I started with my Benefit Mascara and then used both of the Maybelline mascaras. I hope you enjoyed this makeup look, and hopefully I will come out with more looks soon!
