Price: $7.99 * Buy At: Walgreens * Size: 0.28 oz / 8.1 g The Wet n Wild Studio Eyeshadow Palette in Coming in Latte is a ten pan shadow palette filled with neutrals. I don’t typically go for shadow palettes from the drugstore, but I tend to like Wet N Wild shadows, so I gave this palette a chance. And I sure am glad that I did! This palette has some of the best matte shadows I have ever seen from the drugstore, and are actually quite comparable to higher end shadows. The packaging feels cheap, which is to be expected from such an affordable product. It may just be mine, but it’s kind of difficult to get opened for some reason. The palette does not have a mirror, but that does not bother me at all. As you can probably tell from the swatches, the shimmery shades aren’t super intense, but they can be built up, and the mattes in the palette really make up for it. All of the shadows have a smooth texture and apply very evenly to the eyes. I have experimented quite a bit with this palette and find it quite easy to use. The matte shadows blend out very well, and the colors have good color payoff on the eyes. The only one that doesn’t show up super well is the ivory shade, but that is solely due to how close in color it is to my skintone. Overall it is a very nice palette and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for good eyeshadows (especially matte) at the drugstore. XOX ♥
