How To | Step by StepIn order to create an even base for this look, I started off with my Makeup Revolution Cover & Conceal Palette, just applying some concealer all over my lids. Since this look is dramatic, I wanted to have a cream base to really make the lid colors stand out. In the center of the lids, I used the Maybelline Color Tattoo in Bold Gold and on the outer and inner portion of the lids, I applied the Sephora Jumbo Liner in Matte Black. Even though this look has black in the crease, it is still important to use transition shades in the crease. First, I applied Clay from the Stila In The Know Palette with a Sigma E25. Further down in the crease I used Driftwood, from the same palette, with a Zoeva Luxe Defined Crease Brush. I blended the colors out using a Sigma E40. To create a sharp and clean crease, I held up a postcard under my eye while applying the black shadow. You can also use tape to get the same look, but I prefer it the other way. In the crease, I used a Sigma E47 and Blackout from the Naked 2 Palette. I went back and forth with Blackout and Driftwood (which I used in the crease) to make sure the crease was perfectly blended out. I applied Blackout on the entire lower lashline and blended it out with a bit of Clay, which I used as a transition shade in the crease. Using the L'Oreal Voluminous Smoldering Eyeliner, I lined my waterline and my tightline. I also used this liner to line the inner corners of my eyes. I went back in with Blackout on a Coastal Scents Detail brush and applied the shadow on the inner and outer portion of the lids. For the bright gold, I used the Essence All About Sunrise Palette, and just applied the shadow with my finger. I also took a bit of the gold shade and applied it on the inner third of the lower lashline to tie in the color. I used Inglot #318 to highlight just a bit around the black inner corner, but I didn't make the color too intense. To complete this dramatic makeup look, I applied the Maybelline the Colossal Cat Eyes mascara and the L'Oreal Voluminous Carbon Black mascara on both the top and bottom lashes. XOX ♥
