The Nyx #LOTD Lip Of The Day Liquid Lip Liners are metallic liners designed for creating lip art. Enchanted is a teal and Magnetic is a silver.
The Lip Of The Day lip liners have a classic liquid eyeliner packaging with a long brush tip. A liquid lip liner is a very interesting concept...but it was created as a tool for the lip art trend on social media. Lining my lips with these was actually easier than I had expected, but I don't think I would recommend using them as an all over lip color. To cover my entire lips, I had to dip back into the product three or four times--so not the easiest method. Enchanted and Magnetic have pretty good color payoff, but they do not apply completely opaque on the lips, as you can see in my pictures. They are definitely not something I would wear alone, as they feel incredibly drying, more so than any matte liquid lipstick. Lip art is not something I am into, but believe it or not, these are two colors I would wear on any typical day. No, I don't think this kind of product is going to be a must have, but they are pretty unique and if the line has a specific color you are lacking, it is an affordable lip color.

The Nyx Suede Matte Lip Liners are the upgraded version of their classic slip lip pencils. The Suedes come in a much more unique range of colors, including blues, blacks, purples and so on.
The Suede Matte Lip Liners come as a matte black pencil with the corresponding color on the end. They look almost the same as the Slim Lip Pencils, but they are matte, giving them a much more sleek appearance. I really like the colors available in this line. Many of them correspond with shades from the Liquid Suede Lip Cream line. I have Brooklyn Thorn as a Liquid Suede, and now as a lip liner as well. The Suede Matte Lip Liners pull slightly on the lips, which allows for a more precise line. The product is not going to glide across the lip line, which tends to create an uneven, oddly shaped outline. The drier texture also allows for longer lasting power, which is a major purpose for using a lip liner. They all have pretty opaque coverage, with the exception of Jet Set which is not quite opaque, as you can see on my lips. I picked up four shades to go with some of my bolder colors that I have not been able to find from other brands. When wearing a bold lip, you have to be sure that it is applied as neatly as possible, so having these unique lip liners is quite helpful. Compared to the Slim Lip Pencils, these are 50 cents more, which obviously is not an issue. I prefer the packaging and color range of these new lip liners, and I believe that they apply a bit more smooth and slightly more pigmented.

The ColourPop Lippie Pencil in Chi Chi is a creamy bright red orange lip liner.
The ColourPop Lippie Pencils are in a sharpenable format and feature the product’s color on the end of the pencil. Even though it is a pencil form lip liner, Chi Chi has a very smooth and creamy formula that just glides effortlessly onto the lips. Chi Chi has very intense pigmentation, you barely have to apply any pressure to get an opaque color payoff. I had thought that Chi Chi would be a true orange color, but it definitely has a red undertone, making it darker than a lot of my orange lip colors. However, it still works just fine with a classic orange lipstick, so no complaints here!

The Nyx Slim Lip Pencil in Pure Red is a classic red lip liner with a matte finish.
The Slim Lip Pencils are wooden lip pencils that you sharpen. I know many people like mechanical style lip liners, but the wooden ones are still my favorite. Pure Red is very pigmented and works great as a base for any type of red lip product. The Slim Lip Pencils have a dry feeling on the lips when worn alone, so I personally wouldn't wear Pure Red by itself, but you could if you wanted to. The texture of the product is fairly hard and dry, but that helps it to get a much nicer, cleaner line than a pencil with a soft texture.

The Nyx Slim Lip Pencil in Dolly Pink is a bright cool toned pink pencil lip liner with a matte finish.
The Nyx Slim Lip Pencils are the classic sharpenable lip liner pencils that allow you to always have a nice pointed tip for a perfect application. Each Slim Lip Pencil has a colored end that corresponds to the liner's color, making it easy to find the color you're looking for. Dolly Pink has a dry consistency that allows you to get a very precise application, while not applying patchy or uneven. Its texture also is what prevents the color from bleeding or feathering around the lips. Due to the rather dry feeling of Dolly Pink, I would apply a balm, gloss or lipstick over top of the lip liner to give the lips some moisture. Dolly Pink works as a base for most pink lip colors and can add some color to nude lip colors as well.

The Nyx Slim Lip Pencil in Nude Beige is a warm, medium tan lip liner with a matte finish.
The formula of Nude Beige is a bit on the dry side, but it still applies evenly to the lips. It does feel dry on the lips after applied, but I typically pair lip liners with a gloss, lipstick or at least a lip balm. With this lip liner, it's easy to create a sharp, clean outline around your lips and it prolongs the lip color. Nude Beige would be a great base for any brown, tan, nude and even neutral pink lip products.

I have every lip product I have reviewed linked in this post, if you are interested in seeing photos, swatches and my review. Products without a link were purchased before I started reviewing on this website. The Nyx Slim Lip Pencil in Plum is a warm, berry plum lip liner. This liner is a classic pencil and needs to be sharpened.
The Nyx Slim Lip Pencils do not have a super creamy or soft formulation, but that is what I love about them. Once you apply them, they don't move or slide around all day. It also allows the color to last most of the day and fade into a nice stain, plum in this case. The formula of Plum is very thin and you almost can't tell that you are wearing anything on lips. The only downside to these lip liners is that they feel dry, but this is a quick fix with a layer of lip balm, gloss or a corresponding lipstick. I will be wearing Plum Perfect from Maybelline and Sangria from Milani over this lip liner.

The Starlooks Lip Pencil in Tipsy is a matte, coral-pink lip liner that came in my June 2013 Ipsy Bag.
The formula of this lip liner is amazing! It is super creamy and smooth, it feels much more like a lipstick or lip butter than a liner. It feels super comfortable, and not dry at all on the lips and looks like a lipstick when applied all over the lips.
The Starlooks Lip Liner is also very pigmented. You don't need to layer it at all to build up the color.
From Left to Right: MAC Lipstick in Coral Bliss, Ulta Lipstick in Just Peachy,Starlooks Lip Pencil in Tipsy (both straight & squiggly line)
The Ulta Lipstick in Just Peachy (207) is very similar to Tipsy, but it appears to be just a little bit lighter. MAC Coral Bliss is lighter & more sheer.
