The Wet n Wild Matte Velvet Lip Crayon in Lie Lack is a cool toned pink with a matte finish. When swatched and applied on the lips, Lie Lack appears much more pink than expected from the packaging.
The Wet n Wild Matte Velvet Lip Crayons are a typical twist up crayon. The packaging has a matte finish and the product color is featured on the end. Lie Lack is a bit sheer, but not patchy at all. Because of the opacity, it doesn’t appear as bright or pale on the lips as you would expect. It glides onto the lips, without feeling slippery. Lie Lack has a matte finish on the lips without giving the ‘desert mouth’ look; infact, it is very comfortable to wear. Unlike popular liquid matte lipsticks, Lie Lack does not set and dry to your lips, which makes it comfortable to wear, but does not ensure no transfer. It is not the longest lasting lip color, but Lie Lack leaves a subtle stain on the lips.

The Wet n Wild Velvet Matte Lip Color in Charred Cherry is a medium berry with a matte finish. From the looks of the packaging, I thought it would be more cool toned, but unfortunately it is not.
The Wet n Wild Matte Velvet Matte Lip Color are a typical twist up crayon. The packaging has a matte finish and the product color can be seen on the end. Charred Cherry is not completely opaque, but it does not apply patchy whatsoever. Because of the opacity, it doesn’t appear as intense on the lips as you would expect. Charred Cherry has a matte finish on the lips without making the lips look flat or dry; infact, it is very comfortable and somewhat moisturizing on the lips. Unlike liquid matte lipsticks, the Matte Velvet Lip Colors do not set and dry to your lips, which makes it comfortable to wear, but does not ensure no transfer when drinking or eating. Although, the texture is not slippery, so you don’t have to worry about it moving around throughout the day. They are not the longest lasting lip products, but Charred Cherry does leave a stain.

The Nyx Simply Pink Lip Cream in Flushed is a medium light cool toned pink with a balmy finish.
The Simply Lip Creams come in a classic twist up package. Each Lip Cream is colored to match the product color, which makes it very quick to find the color you're looking for. Flushed has a very thin formula that really resembles a lip balm. Because of this, it is quite comfortable and moisturizing on the lips. Flushed had good color payoff when swatching on the skin, but it took a decent amount of building up on the lips to achieve the look in my lip swatch. As you can typically expect with a balmy lip product, Flushed doesn't have the longest wear, but it is very quick and easy to touch up on the go.

The Nyx Simply Nude Lip Cream in Fairest is a light peachy pink nude with a slightly matte cream finish.
The Simply Lip Creams have a classic jumbo lip pencil packaging that twists up at the bottom. Fairest is very pigmented and is much more like a lipstick than a lip stain. Although it's a nude, Fairest does not need any building up at all to achieve an opaque look on the lips. Because of this, you would probably need to be careful while during application. It can also accentuate if you have dry lips, which has been a problem for me lately. Fairest provides a lot of moisture to the lips and feels slightly slippery, which makes it have a comfortable wear, but not a super long one. Unlike many jumbo lip pencils, these do not have a scent.

The Nyx Simply Nude Lip Cream in Honey is a warm, somewhat peachy nude with a cream finish.
The Simply Lip Creams come in a standard jumbo lip pencil package that twists up. The product does not have a scent, which I like. Unlike many jumbo lip pencils, these are quite pigmented and remind me a lot of a lipstick. Honey glides onto the lips and feels thin, moisturizing and quite comfortable on the lips. The texture is a bit slippery so it doesn't have the longest wear, but it doesn't make the product move around or bleed outside the lips.

The Bite Beauty High Pigment Pencil in Madeira is a creamy nude lip color in the form of a twist-up jumbo lip pencil.
When swatching the High Pigment Pencils at Sephora, I found that the whole line lived up to their name. These lip products are extremely pigmented and opaque. The name of the product doesn't suggest it having a matte finish, but Sephora's website does. I don't find Madeira to be matte at all, it actually has a nice gloss to the finish. Madeira has a lightweight, comfortable feel on the lips, but unfortunately it is not the longest lasting color.

The Nyx Chunky Dunk Hydrating Lippie is a brown nude with peachy undertones. The Chunky Dunk is Nyx's newest version of a jumbo lip pencil.
Peach Fuzzy, along with the other shades of the Chunky Dunk, is sheer, even when built up. Products like this are quick and easy to apply and manage throughout the day. Given the nature of the product and the color, it doesn't show up too much on the lips, but does make the lips less pink and darker. It also gives the lips a balmy shine. Peach Fuzzy is easy to apply and has a smooth formula. It felt quite comfortable on the lips when first applied, but I did notice it begin to feel less comfortable throughout the wear. I still think that I prefer the Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stains over the Chunky Dunks, but I think that these would still be a good option for people looking for a sheer lip color.

The Pop Beauty Pouty Pop Crayon Kit comes with six full sized jumbo lip pencils. The kit includes the shades Fuchsia Flirt (fuchsia), Rose Romance (neutral pink), Petal Passion (clear), Coral Crush (hot pink), Apricot Adore (coral) & Barely Bitten (peachy nude).
All of the shades in this kit have semi-sheer, but buildable pigmentation, with the exception of the clear shade, Petal Passion. The Pouty Pop Crayons have a smooth feel and glide onto the lips. I think that the crayons feel very comfortable on the lips and are a quick and easy lip color that isn't high maintenance. The crayons don't need to be sharpened and just twist up when needed. However, since they are the twist-up kind, the product can easily fall out of the packaging.

The Revlon Colorburst Matte Balm in Complex is a warm peachy nude jumbo lip pencil with a matte finish. The Revlon Matte Balms twist up to reveal more product, so not sharpening is needed.
The Revlon Matte Balm in Complex has a very nice and comfortable formula. It's thin and lightweight, but manages to be moisturizing. The Revlon Matte Balms are my favorite product to use when I am looking for a matte lip color. Complex wears for a few hours on me, but does fade pretty evenly. For some reason, to me, Complex doesn't look all that attractive swatched on my arm, but I love it on my lips. It isn't a super noticeable color, but it does give my lips more of a peachy nude color.

The Rimmel Colour Rush Long Lasting Intense Colour Balm in Give Me A Cuddle is a yellow-toned pink jumbo lip pencil. Like most jumbo lip pencils, Rimmel's version comes in a colored plastic package that twists up.
The Rimmel Colour Rush Balms have a vanilla scent, versus the typical minty scent that jumbo lip pencils often have. Give Me A Cuddle has a glossy finish, making it the perfect lip product for spring and summer. The Colour Rush Balms feel very lightweight and comfortable on the lips. In my opinion, the formula is a cross between the Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stains and the Jordana Twist & Shine Balm Stains.
