Price: $8.99 * Buy At: Ulta The Real Techniques Expert Face Brush is a rounded dense brush with an orange chrome handle. I reviewed this brush a long time ago, and my picture quality has drastically improved since then, and since I still use this brush daily, I wanted to give it an updated review. The Expert Face Brush has short, dense, synthetic bristles that are rounded at the end. The brush is great quality, I have had my Expert Face Brush (which is not the one in the photos) for a year and a half and I have maybe had one or two bristles shed. I've used the brush pretty much everyday and still love it. The density of the bristles make the Expert Face brush work great for blending in liquid or cream foundation (or concealer) and cream cheek products. It beautifully blends out the product without effecting its coverage. The brush doesn't leave brush strokes on the finished look of the skin and doesn't absorb much product. For me, the Expert Face Brush is a staple and I suggest it for everyone. XOX ♥

Price: $7.99 * Buy At: Ulta The Real Techniques Setting Brush is a small tapered synthetic face brush mainly meant to set concealer under the eyes. The Setting Brush has a pink handle with a chrome-like shine and the brush's name is printed on the handle. The bristles are very soft and fluffy, making the brush feel very nice under the eyes. It's size also makes the brush perfect for the under eye area. It isn't too dense and it picks up just the right amount of product to set the under eyes without causing them to look cakey or have fallout. I haven't had the brush for too long, but so far none of the bristles have fallen out or splayed, like my other brushes from Real Techniques. XOX ♥
Price: $8.49 * Buy At: Ulta The EcoTools Tapered Blush Brush is a fan shaped blush brush. It has a bamboo handle, recycled aluminum ferrule and synthetic bristles. As suggested in the name, the Tapered Blush Brush is tapered, making the brush wide and flat on the front and back and thin on the sides. The brush's shape set it apart from most other blush brushes and gives it many uses. I use the flat part of the brush to apply blush and I use the top of the brush for both highlight and contour. The bristles are not too dense which allows it to effortlessly blend out any cheek product. XOX ♥
Price: $3 * Buy At: Walmart The Elf Studio Small Stipple Brush is a short duo fiber brush that is cut flat across the top. The brush has a durable feeling handle that is an average length. The brush is dense enough to blend out product, but not too dense where you end up applying too much product. (FYI this brush is much denser than the Sigma F55 Small Duo Fibre Brush) I am really impressed with how this brush preformed! I dabbed the brush into a cream blush (from Nyx) and dotted it onto the cheeks. Once I got the product in the right place, I wiped off the brush and began blending. A mixture of circular and stippling motions worked great to perfectly blend out the color, not leaving any streaks, brush strokes or harsh lines. Although the brush is fairly small, I still think it works great for applying cheek color, and the size makes it perfect for applying a cream contour. It's a great brush, and at such an inexpensive price, it would be a great addition to any brush collection. XOX ♥
Price: $2.95 * Buy At: Coastal Scents' Website The Coastal Scents Classic Precision Pencil Small Synthetic is a small, pointed brush made of synthetic bristles. I've been wanting a pencil brush for a while now, and was super excited when I saw that Coastal Scents released one! The Precision Pencil Brush is pretty dense. This allows the brush to pick up plenty of product. The bristles are not really fluffy, which could irritate sensitive eyes, but I don't think it's a problem. The brush is intended for applying shadow under the eyes, to add dimension and to keep eye looks from appearing top heavy. I do this in my everyday makeup looks, so this brush comes in handy. Unfortunately, I do not own the Sigma E30 Pencil Brush (which has the same purpose), so I can not compare the two. I've never had an issue with any of my Coastal Scents brushes, and the bristles on this brush have not shed or splayed. XOX ♥
Price: $2.49 * Buy At: Coastal Scents' Website The Coastal Scents Shader Medium Synthetic Brush is a flat, dense shader brush made of synthetic bristles. This brush is new to the Coastal Scents line of brushes. The brush's dimensions are listed on the Coastal Scents' website and are as follows: Bristles: 0.375” (.95cm), Ferrule: 1.562” (3.96cm) & Handle: 6.125” (15.55cm). It has silky, dense bristles, similar to a concealer brush. This allows the bristles to easily pick up powder shadow and pack it onto the lids. All the Coastal Scents brushes I've tried have a great quality and I have not experienced shedding or splaying of bristles. It's quite different than the Coastal Scents Classic Shadow Medium Brush, as you can see in the comparison photo below. The Shader brush is thinner, more dense and has a silky feel, while the Shadow brush is thicker and has a fluffy feel. XOX ♥
Price: $5.99 * Buy At: Ulta The Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge is an orange cosmetic sponge. The sponge is cut flat at an angle on one end, and comes to a point on the other end. The back of the packaging gives instructions for how to use each part of the sponge. The flat edge is designed for contours around the eyes and the nose. The sides are designed to blend large areas of the face, and the pointed tip is is designed for covering imperfections. The sponge has a fairly hard feel to it when it's dry, but it gets much softer when damp. Some people aclaim that the sponge doubles in size, but I don't notice much of a size difference when the sponge is wet. When first testing out the sponge, I tried using the "bouncing" motion I've seen many others use, but I didn't find it to blend my foundation or concealer at all. I find the sponge to work better using small circular or sweeping motions, similar to how you would use a brush. The sponge doesn't take away any of the coverage of the product you are applying and doesn't appear to absorb much of it either. The sponge also comes in handy when applying or blending out cream blush. I still think I'm more of a brush person when it comes to face products, but the Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge is a good, inexpensive choice for people in the market for a sponge. XOX ♥
Price: $2.49 * Buy At: Coastal Scents' Website The Coastal Scents Shader Medium Synthetic Brush is a flat, dense shader brush made of synthetic bristles. This brush is new to the Coastal Scents line of brushes. The Coastal Scents Classic Shader Medium Synthetic Brush is the perfect size and shape for packing on a lid color. The brush reminds me of a concealer brush since it's thin, dense and the bristles almost have a silky feel. All the Coastal Scents brushes I've tried have a great quality and I have not experienced shedding or splaying of bristles. This is the kind of brush I was expecting when I ordered the Coastal Scents Classic Shadow Medium Synthetic Brush. You can see a comparison of the two brushes below. The Shadow Brush is wider and thicker than the Shader Brush and also has a fluffy feel versus a silky feel. XOX ♥
Price: $5.99 * Buy At: Ulta The Real Techniques Silicone Liner Brush is a pointed liner brush made of a single piece of silicone. Like the other eye brushes from Real Techniques, the Silicone Liner Brush has a purple handle. The concept of this brush is really unique and I haven't seen any other brand with a silicone liner brush. This brush is very convenient for gel (or cream) eyeliners, you literally dip the brush into the liner and apply as if it was a pencil liner or other liner brush. However, I have found that you will need to dip into the liner two or three times to get a full line on the lid. It can pull on the lids a bit, just like any pencil liner or liner brush would. I'm not sure if I will be using this everyday for my eyeliner, but I think it's a good brush to add to the collection. XOX ♥
Price: $2.95 * Buy At: Coastal Scents Website HERE The Coastal Scents Classic Blush Angle Large Synthetic Brush is a typical angled blush brush made with synthetic bristles. First of all, I wanted to mention that this brush has a very thick handle. It doesn't really bother me or affect the application of blush, but I was surprised how big the handle was when I received the brush. The bristles are synthetic and quite soft and I have yet to experience any shedding or splaying. The brush is not very dense or thick, which is a bit odd for a blush brush, but I still think it works well for applying blush. The dimensions of the brush are: Bristles : 1.5" (3.8 cm), Ferrule : 1.81" (4.6 cm) & Handle : 4.65" (11.8 cm). XOX ♥
