Price: $6.49 * Buy At: Target * Size: 0.09 oz The Revlon ColorBurst Lip Butter in Wild Watermelon is a semi-sheer cherry red with no shimmer. Wild Watermelon is a part of the permanent line of Lip Butters. I am quite the fan of the Lip Butter's packaging. They have a tall quilted lid that is the color of the product inside (red, in this case). They have a small black base that says Revlon & the bottom has a colored sticker with the color's name. The product is cut at an angle and is larger (in diameter) than most lipsticks. This makes application easy and convenient for people with larger lips, but difficult for people like me with small lips. Wild Watermelon has a smooth application and its sheer, red color allows for an everyday red lip color that isn't too much. As you will see in the swatches, with one swipe, Wild Watermelon provides a quite sheer red tint and a nice semi-sheer bright red when built up. Wild Watermelon has a little bit of shine to it, which can be built up with a gloss. XOX ♥

Price: $7.59 * Buy At: Target * Size: 0.09 oz The Revlon ColorStay Ultimate Suede Lipstick in Front Row appears to be a bright neutral tone pink, but is a quite sheer, cool toned pink color. I have to be honest, I really don't like this lipstick. It does not apply smoothly and took a lot of building up to even get the sheer color shown in my swatch photos. With the poor application and poor pigmentation, this lipstick also has the stickiest formulation of lipstick I have ever tried. It is instantly sticky once applied and does not go away during wear. Front Row lasted about an hour on my lips before the product was mostly gone. Unfortunately, this lipstick is definitely a miss from Revlon. XOX ♥
Price: $4.99 * Buy At: CVS * Size: 0.3 oz / 8.5 g The Wet N Wild Coloricon Eyeshadow Palette in Comfort Zone is a popular 8 pan shadow palette. Comfort Zone contains all shimmery shadows (one is glittery), which for me is not ideal, I wish there would have been a matte brown in the palette. The Coloricon palettes from Wet N Wild are in cheap feeling plastic packaging with clear lids, which given the price of the Wet N Wild shadows, I don't mind. The Coloricon Eyeshadow Palette in Comfort Zone contains an ivory, rosy brown, golden brown, glittery blackened brown, silver, light muted green, dark grey brown and a red brown with teal reflect, all with a shimmery finish. The texture of these shadows are great, they are very smooth and soft and not to mention pigmented. A few were a little bit chalky (mainly the Definer in the 1st column and the Crease in the 2nd column), but they evened out with some layering. I think that Comfort Zone is a great addition to anyone's collection whether they are just starting with makeup or are a hard core makeup collector. The only downside to this palette is that it has no matte shades and the packaging is cheap, which could cause it to wear out and break, but for $5, the beautiful shimmery colors in this palette are definitely worth it! Price: $2.99 * Buy At: Target * Size: 7 g / 0.25 oz The Passion Fruit EOS Lip Balm is the classic EOS egg shaped lip balm in purple packaging. I am pretty sure that this EOS has previously been in a limited edition set. This one doesn't say that it is limited edition, but it is in winter/holiday packaging. The Passion Fruit EOS Lip Balm has a fruity smell, that is not overwhelming. I can't say if it smells like passion fruit, though, since I don't think I have ever smelled a passion fruit. This lip balm applies very smoothly to the lips and has a medium thickness, where it doesn't have too thick of a formula, but it is still very moisturizing. Passion Fruit is just as great as all my other EOS Lip Balms and they continue to be one of my favorite lip balms. XOX ♥
Price: $5.94 * Buy At: Target * Size: 0.11 oz / 3 g The Maybelline Color Whisper in Made It Mauve is a warm, neutral darker pink color that is semi-sheer. In my opinion this is more of a berry color than a mauve and I do not see a lot of purple in this shade. Made It Mauve is a really pretty, flattering color that I think works great in the fall or winter, but could also work in the spring or summer. Just dabbing the color on the lips can create a really pretty natural lip color that is just a little darker. You can also apply it all over the lips for a great darker lip color that is not too much of a statement. Made It Mauve has a lightweight feel, which is something I look for in a lip product. Made It Mauve is not a full coverage lip color, as the Color Whisper line is more along the lines of a semi-sheer balm-like lip color. Made It Mauve has a little bit of shine to it, so it still looks natural on the lips. I find that Made It Mauve lasts for about two hours on before needing to be reapplied, but since it is not a super pigmented lip color, it is easy to apply on the go with or without a mirror. XOX ♥
Price: $6.49 * Buy At: Target * Size: 0.095 oz The Revlon ColorBurst Matte Balm in Mischievous is a soft orange jumbo lip pencil with a nice matte finish. The Matte Balms come in the classic jumbo lip pencil format, but the packaging of these are matte, which I think looks really nice. Like the original balm stains, these have a minty scent. Mischievous had a rather thin formula, and despite the matte finish, felt very moisturizing and balm like. Mischievous applied very evenly and isn't completely opaque, making this a great choice for people who are intimidated by orange lip colors. Mischievous gives off a softer, more salmon color in natural light or shade, and a much more orange color in sunlight. I really like both the color and formula of this product! In fact, in my opinion, this Matte Balm is more comfortable and moisturizing than the Lacquer Balm I tried (Coquette). XOX ♥
Price: $15 * Size: 3 g / 0.1 oz * Buy At: MAC Stores & Counters The MAC Lipstick in Pink Plaid is described as a dirty blue-pink and is one of MAC's matte finish lipsticks. Pink Plaid comes in the classic MAC Lipstick packaging. They are shaped like a bullet and come in a black tube with subtle glitter. The bottom has a sticker with the color's name, but the sticker is not colored to resemble the lipstick's color. Pink Plaid also has the traditional vanilla MAC lipstick smell, that I love. Pink Plaid is an unique color, it is similar to a my-lips-but-better, but it is slightly mauve and has a hint of purple. Pink Plaid is a cool toned color, which looks most flattering on cool-toned skin. I don't find Pink Plaid's matte finish to be uncomfortable, but it will make chapped lips very apparent. (I suggest using a lip scrub before hand if you have this problem) XOX ♥
Price: $6 * Size: 0.14 oz / 4 g * Buy At: Ulta The Nyx Matte Lipstick in Nude is a peachy pink lipstick with of course, a matte finish. On me it isn't really a nude, but it is a beautiful color. Since this is a lighter color and it is fairly bright, I would suggest this color for light or fair skin. Nude applies very smoothly on the lips and has a creamy formula despite the fact that it's matte. Nude is very pigmented and almost gives the lips a painted look because of the pigmentation. This lipstick has a quite thin formula and is slightly moisturizing. Although, since it is a matte finish, I suggest applying Nude over a lip balm to get the most comfortable feel on the lips. XOX ♥
Price: $7.99 * Buy At: Target * Size: 3 x 0.25 This fun & inexpensive lip balm set contains 2 sphere lip balms from the permanent EOS line: Sweet Mint & Pomegranate Raspberry, along with a limited edition one: Vanilla Bean. Each lip balm is in the classic egg shaped packaging with EOS printed on the top and the bottom. The lip balms have a flat bottom which allows them to sit on a flat surface. They are also 100% natural and 95% organic. For scents, I am going to start off with Sweet Mint. First, I would like to mention that to me, this smells much more like peppermint than a sweet mint and I hate it. I think that anyone who likes mint (pretty much everyone except for me) would love this one, but it makes me gag, so I gave it to my sister. On a more positive note, I like Pomegranate Raspberry and Vanilla Bean. Pomegranate Raspberry has a nice fruity scent, but I noticed that this one isn't as fragrant as my other seven EOS lip balms. This may just be the one in this set, or maybe it's just how this scent is. Lastly is the limited edition Scent, Vanilla Bean. It has a nice vanilla scent, with almost a little bit of mint, which I assume is from the Sweet Mint EOS. Most of the other EOS lip balms are fruity, so I think that this would be a nice EOS for anyone who isn't a fan of fruity scents. Each EOS lip balm in this holiday set are very smooth and moisturizing, without being too thick. These lip balms do not provide the longest moisturization compared to some of my other favorite lip balms, but these are still very nice lip balms, especially with the inexpensive price tag. XOX ♥
Price: $8.99 * Buy At: Walgreens * Size: 0.095 oz / 2.7 g I have been waiting for these to be released in the drugstores and I was so happy to find the display at Walgreens! Revlon's new take on their popular Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stains is the new Lacquer & Matte Balms. I wasn't sure if I would like the Matte Balms, so I just picked up one of the shades of the Lacquer Balms. The shade I picked up is Coquette, a yellow-toned pink with some very small pieces of glitter. The Revlon Lacquer Balms are a jumbo lip pencil that is a twist up format. The packaging of the Lacquer Balms is the color of the product, which I really like. The packaging format and the size of the Lacquer Balms is the same as the original Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stains. The Lacquer Balms also have a similar minty scent that the Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stains have. The only difference between the two kinds is that the Lacquer Balms have a very reflective package. The glitter in Coquette is very small and not very visible on the lips, so if you are not a fan of glittery lips (like me) I wouldn't worry about this one. The glitter does leave the slightest bit of a gritty feel, but not enough to steer someone away from Coquette. Application of Coquette is consistent with the original Balm Stains and I don't think that it is that much glossier than the originals either. What I love about the Revlon Balm Stains is that they feel very thin and moisturizing and are perfect products for people who don't like the feel of lipsticks or glosses. Coquette is not high maintenance and can easily be applied on the go with out a mirror. XOX ♥
