PRODUCT INFORMATION Price: $12 Buy At: Sigma On Sigma's Website: http://www.sigmabeauty.com/product_p/e40.htm This spring has been a time of firsts for me! Now I've moved on to getting my first Sigma brush. I've been wanting another crease brush so I ordered the E40 Tapered Blending Brush. According to Sigma's website, the E40 has a soft, fluffy, rounded tip made of natural bristles. It's purpose is a soft, blended crease created by using the tip to apply color, sweep back and forth through the crease for a diffused and blended finish. I think it's a great brush for the crease! It applies a nice amount of color and is very easy to blend with. The Sigma E40 has pretty soft bristles, but, not the softest I've ever had. I'm also sad to say that I lost quite a few bristles while washing this brush. This brush also has a thicker handle then most brushes. It reminds me much more of a paint brush than other eye brushes I have or have used. The handle features a silver Sigma logo, the name of the brush and USA. Overall, I like the brush, but I don't think it's as amazing as everyone makes the Sigma brushes sound. I also don't think this brush was worth $12.

Product Information Price: $8 Buy At: Target Size: 0.21 fl oz / 6.3 mL Shades Available: 12 L'Oreal's Website: http://www.lorealparisusa.com/en/Products/Makeup/Lips/Lip-Color/Colour-Caresse-Wet-Shine-Stain.aspx?shade=Endless-Red I was a little late in jumping on the band wagon for this "YSL dupe". I haven't tried the YSL Glossy Stains, but, I assume they are probably similar since L'Oreal owns YSL. These Wet Shine Stains are very different than any other gloss I've tried. When applied it feels like water, but after a little bit it starts to thicken and feel stickier and not wet. The stickiness of this product is hard to describe, it's not uncomfortably sticky like most glosses, but it's still a little sticky. In addition to the different formula, these glosses also have a different applicator. Even though this gloss has a long tube, the applicator is very short. It's also has a slanted doe foot applicator like the YSL Glossy Stains. Another interesting feature is that it has a slit in the middle meant to hold more product. Pink Resistance is a pink gloss that leans slightly coral. On my lips, however, it just looks like a clear gloss. XOX ♥
Product Information Price: $4.64 (prices vary) Size: 0.14 oz / 4g Buy At: Target Shades Available: 17 Rimmel's Website: http://us.rimmellondon.com/products/lips/lasting-finish I went to the Rimmel section intending on finding a dupe for Mac Fanfare, Rose Blush. I then found Pink Blush and liked it more since Rose Blush is a darker color. Pink blush was also cheaper. It doesn't have as creamy of a formula as the Nyx lipsticks, but it's not bad. It has a pretty comfortable feel on the lips. My last thing to point out is that these lipsticks have an odd smell, you can't smell it on the lips though. This smell reminds me of when I was younger because I had a red Rimmel lipstick that I got for a dance recital and it smelled just like this one. Pink Blush is a medium pink. It has a fairly neutral tone, but is leaning more on the cool side. (It looks warmer in the photos due to the yellow indoor lighting - my white lights weren't working) It's quite an easy color to wear. Rimmel Lasting Finish Lipstick in Pink Blush (middle) compared to Maybelline Color Whisper in Faint For Fuchsia (left) & Mirabella Colour Sheers Lipstick in Daydream (right). Faint For Fuchsia is brighter and more cool toned & Daydream is darker and more purple. Both Faint For Fuchsia and Daydream are more sheer than Pink Blush. XOX ♥
Product Information Price: $5.54 Size: 0.15 oz / 4.2 g Buy At: Target Shades Available: 10 (in the Vivids line) Target: http://www.target.com/p/maybelline-color-sensational-vivids-lipcolor/-/A-14323697#?lnk=sc_qi_detaillink Maybelline: http://www.maybelline.com/Products/Lip-Makeup/Lip-Color/Color-Sensational-Vivids.aspx Even though this lipstick happens to be orange, all of the shades in the Maybelline Color Sensational Vivids collection come in this orange packaging. As you can see in the picture next to the product information, it has a tall lid that covers most of the product like the Color Whispers. These lipsticks have a colored sticker at the bottom to show the lipstick shade along with the name. Something quick to point out about this is that I haven't seen these sealed in any of stores. This color was interesting to photograph. With a white background it looks like a muted orange, but when in front of a grey background it looks really bright and much more yellow. In swatches and on the lips it looks like a mix of the muted orange and the neon yellow-orange. I'm not sure if anyone else has noticed this, but I have found that this line of lipsticks smell just like Play-doh. May be a little random, but I thought it was worth mentioning. I found that the formula of the Vivids line isn't very smooth or creamy. It is easy to apply, but it's nothing like the Nyx round case lipsticks. I find that it has some nice wear to it, but it starts to feel a little weird after a while. It's hard to explain, but it kind of feels gritty or like you have really tiny crumbs or something like that on your lips. I'm willing to look passed this for the amazing colors.

1. The first step to this gold look is a gold cream shadow to act as a base and make the gold shadow a little more intense. I just applied mine all over my lid with my finger. 2. Next, I pressed a shimmery gold shadow onto my lid with a flat shader brush. 3. For the crease I used a taupe shadow and blended it in the crease with a Sigma E40. 4. You can leave it here, but I intensified the look more by applying a darker brown into the outer V with the same brush. 5. To bring light back to my eyes, I used a shimmery light highlight in the inner corner of my eyes as well as under my brows. 6. Then, I lined my top lid with black liner and winged it out. I also used a black liner for my waterline & tightline. 7. Lastly, I applied 2 coats of mascara on the top & 1 on the bottom. 1 - Tarte Amazonian Clay Blush in Angelic
2 - Gold Cream Shadow from the Revlon Illuminance Cream Shadow Quad in Precious Metals & Urban Decay Half Baked 3 - Urban Decay Tease 4 - Urban Decay Snakebite 5 - Essence Super Fine Liner Pen 6 - Rimmel Scandaleyes Liner in Black Also Maybelline Mega Plush Mascara XOX ♥ Product Information Price: $22 Buy At: Sephora Size: 0.28 oz On Anastasia's Website: http://www.anastasia.net/clear-brow-gel.html ***I got the mini version of this gel in my May Ipsy bag.*** Anastasia says "This Best-Selling Formula tames unruly brows without leaving them stiff, flaky or sticky. Fortified with rich botanical conditioners and essential oils, this luxurious formula can be worn alone or layered over Anastasia’s Brow Powder Duo or Brow Pencils to set your perfect application all day." I found this gel to feel quite more watery than other brow gels I have tried. It feels basically applying water to your brows. This formula makes it nice and easy to apply to your eyebrows. Here's how the gel wore on me: I applied the gel at 6:10 am, at this point, I noticed that it doesn't have a waxy feel & gives the brows a less hard look than my Elf gel. At 8:20 I noticed that my brows were still shaped, but, the hairs feel harder than they did when applied. At 10:00 a few hairs were out of place. 12:20 brought a flaky feel, also they started too feel less hard. Finally at 9:00 pm, it was still holding but lost the hard & crunchy feel. Overall, it's a nice gel, but I didn't notice enough difference from my Elf brow gel to spend 21 more dollars.
XOX ♥ Product Information Price: $4.49 Size: Buy At: Ulta Shades Available: 21 Nyx's Website: http://www.nyxcosmetics.com/p-152-nude-matte-shadow.aspx Ulta's Website: http://www.ulta.com/ulta/browse/productDetail.jsp?skuId=2242534&productId=xlsImpprod4141605&navAction=push&navCount=1&subdoc=67nyx20off&categoryId=cat940003 Nyx Nude Matte Eye Shadow in Stripped is described simply as black. Ulta says "NYX signature Nude Matte Shadow delivers a richly pigmented matte finish to create everyday eye looks and strong styles for nights on the town" NYX Says "Unzip that picture perfect look by using the Nude Matte Shadow available in 21 various brilliant shades. The silky texture of each shadow applies and blends smoothly with the touch of your finger tips or your favorite eye shadow brush." Overall, this is a pretty average shadow. It's not creamy or super pigmented, but, it's not bad. I don't regret buying it, but it's not my favorite black shadow. I prefer Blackout from Urban Decay. In the swatch I used 2 swipes on the left, 1 swipe in the middle and 2 swipes with an eyeliner brush on the right. As you can tell it's not the blackest black, but it's okay. It's a good soft black for people who don't like the harsh dark black color. You can also tell by the middle & right swatch that it isn't the most even and has some fall out. On the eyes though, it looks good over eye liner or to add a bit to the top lid to make the lashes appear thicker. I'm also more accepting with this because all blacks I've experienced have been this color and a little chalky.
XOX ♥ Product Information Price: $9 Buy At: Ulta Ulta's Website: http://www.ulta.com/ulta/browse/productDetail.jsp?skuId=2244502&productId=xlsImpprod4260015&navAction=push&navCount=1&categoryId=cat80084%20cat120078 Real Techniques' Website: http://realtechniques.com/shop-collection/your-base-flawless/expert-face-brush To show the size of the Expert Face brush, I put it on my hand and compared it to the Powder brush that I previously reviewed. It is a pretty small brush, but, the powder brush is also really big. The Expert Face Brush is a short, round brush with lots of bristles. This one is soft too, just not as soft as the powder brush. Here I pressed the brush into the floor to show how dense it is. If you saw the post about the powder brush you'll know that that brush is not dense at all, making it perfect for powder. This brush is quite dense making it nice for contouring, blending foundation, blending concealer and building up sheer blush. It's a great multitasking brush perfect for any makeup collection. I really love this brush, it's great for everything on the face! I hope to try out more brushes from Real Techniques soon!
XOX ♥ While makeup is fun and pretty, at the end of the day (literally) it's all about removing your makeup. Not removing your makeup can cause premature wrinkles, especially around your eyes and can cause breakouts. Plus, your body is absorbing the makeup to make it go away, and that doesn't sound very good, does it? Product Information Price: $4.99 Buy At: Target Size: 4 Fl. oz / 120 mL On Maybelline's Website: http://www.maybelline.com/Products/Brushes-and-Accessories/Removers/Clean-Express-Classic-Eye-Makeup-Remover.aspx Photo from Maybelline I don't use this to remove all my makeup, but I use this to get rid of the eye liner that likes to hang on after I wash my face or use a makeup remover wipe. It does a great job of getting rid of all my liner. I also use this in the morning while doing my makeup if I make any mistakes.
The only thing I don't like about this is that it feels really oily, even though it's oil-free. It's fine once you wash it off with water, but, I would prefer to just remove the makeup and be done. Another thing I want to mention is that it is safe for contact wearers, like it claims. Some people on Maybelline's website said that it wasn't, but they probably aren't washing it off or something else is giving them problems. I wear contacts and have never expired a problem with using this makeup remover. I really like this eye makeup remover and it can really be a lifesaver while doing your makeup. I will definitely repurchase when mine runs out. XOX ♥ Price: $16 * Size: 3.6 g / 0.12 oz * Buy At: Mac The MAC Sheen Supreme Lipstick in Gotta Dash! is described as a pale, clean coral. This shade could be paler on darker skin tones, but it's not pale on NW20 or similar skin tones. I first would like to point out the difference between the normal MAC Lipsticks and the MAC Sheen Supreme Lipsticks. First of all, the normal lipsticks cost $15 while the Sheen Supreme lipsticks cost $16. But, the Sheen Supreme lipsticks contain 0.6 g / 0.02 oz more product than the normal lipsticks. Also, the packaging is very different. The Sheen Supreme lipsticks are a skinny, long cylinder while the normal ones are fatter and look more like a bullet. The last major difference is that the normal lipsticks have the usual lipstick shape top while the Sheen Supreme have a flat top. Also, just like the concealer, this lipstick (and all Mac lipsticks) are part of the Back To Mac program, where you can get a free product when you turn in 6 empties. This lipstick is very pigmented giving you an opaque color in seconds. It glides on smoothly and feels great on the lips. It doesn't feel flaky, waxy or heavy. I also like that it smells like vanilla. As for the wear, I noticed it started to feel drying after 2 hours. And after 3 hours it was completely gone. I know some people expect a lip color to last all day, but, honestly that just doesn't happen. I think this lipstick really lives up to the Mac lipstick hype, and I plan on getting another one some time.
