I've been posting everyday for a while now, and unfortunately it has to come to an end, at least for now. I buy all of the products that I review (no products are sent to me by companies) and I lately have been running low on reviews to post! In order to ensure not only that I never have to skip a posting day and to make sure that my photos and reviews are up to my standards, I will not be posting on Sundays. I will still be posting as usual Mondays through Saturdays, but I will only be posting the weekly roundup on Sundays. I apologize, but this will save me a post a week to make sure that I never run out of reviews and other posts for you!

Price: $7.99 * Buy At: Ulta * Size: 6.5 g / 0.23 oz The Nyx Baked Blush in Sugar Mama is a light apricot blush with visible shimmer. The Baked Blushes come in a square package with a clear lid. The blush is baked, so it has a domed shape. Sugar Mama is very pigmented and a lot of product comes off on your brush when you dip it in. I don't typically like shimmer in my blush, but I think that the shimmer in Sugar Mama is subtle enough, and it gives more of a glow than sparkle on the cheeks. Since this color is on the lighter side, I would suggest this color for people with lighter skin. Sugar Mama is easy to blend and lasts most of the day on my skin, with or without foundation underneath. XOX ♥
Price: $2.95 * Buy At: Coastal Scents Website HERE The Coastal Scents Classic Blush Angle Large Synthetic Brush is a typical angled blush brush made with synthetic bristles. First of all, I wanted to mention that this brush has a very thick handle. It doesn't really bother me or affect the application of blush, but I was surprised how big the handle was when I received the brush. The bristles are synthetic and quite soft and I have yet to experience any shedding or splaying. The brush is not very dense or thick, which is a bit odd for a blush brush, but I still think it works well for applying blush. The dimensions of the brush are: Bristles : 1.5" (3.8 cm), Ferrule : 1.81" (4.6 cm) & Handle : 4.65" (11.8 cm). XOX ♥
Price: $2.49 * Buy At: Coastal Scents Website HERE The Coastal Scents Classic Detail Mini Synthetic Brush is a small, stiff brush with a rounded tip. The brush reminds me of a very small version of a concealer brush. The Classic Detail Mini Synthetic Brush's dimensions are as follows: Bristles : 0.16" (0.4 cm), Ferrule : 1.18" (3 cm) & Handle : 5.63" (14.3 cm). This brush is quite dense and reminds me a lot of an eyeliner brush. The bristles are soft, just like the other Coastal Scents brushes that I have reviewed. The brush works great to create a soft line on the upper or lower lashline, as well as a highlight in the inner corners of the eye. The quality of the brush is great, I have not experienced any bristles splaying or shedding. XOX ♥
Price: $2.95 * Buy At: Coastal Scents Website HERE The Coastal Scents Classic Blender Pointed Natural Brush is a fluffy brush with a pointed tip made of pony hair. The brush's pointed tip allows a concentrated amount of shadow into the crease, which works quite well for people with smaller lids, like me. The brush's dimensions are available on the Coastal Scents website are are as follows: 0.43"/1.1 cm (bristles), 1.57"/4 cm (ferrule) & 4.92"/12.5 cm (handle). The bristles are nice, but not as soft as the Coastal Scents brushes I've reviewed that are made of synthetic bristles. Similar to the synthetic brushes, I have not experienced any of the bristles shedding or splaying. Overall, I think this brush works pretty well for applying and blending shadow in the crease, but I think I would try the synthetic version instead. XOX ♥
Price: $1.95 * Buy At: Coastal Scents Website HERE The Coastal Scents Classic Liner Angled Small Synthetic Brush is an angled liner brush with black synthetic bristles. The Coastal Scents' website conveniently has the dimensions for all their brushes available. This brush's dimensions are as followed: 0.24"/0.6 cm (bristles), 1.14"/2.9 cm (ferrule) & 5.55"/14.1 cm (handle). The bristles of this brush are quite soft and so far haven't shed or splayed. The brush is just dense enough to apply liner, but doesn't pull on the lids. It does a nice job applying both gel and powder liners and creates a smooth, clean line. Since the bristles are angled, I would not suggest to use this brush to apply liner in the tightline or waterline. XOX ♥
Price: $1.95 * Buy At: Coastal Scents Website HERE The Coastal Scents Classic Bent Liner Natural Brush is a bent eyeliner brush with a fine tip made from sable hair. If I would have looked into sable hair a little more, I think I may have purchased the synthetic version instead. Conveniently, the brush's dimensions are available on the Coastal Scents website and are as follows: 0.24"/0.6 cm (bristles), 1.3"/3.3 cm (ferrule) & 5.47"/13.9 cm (handle). As you can see in the close up photos, there is a bristle that has splayed, but none of the other bristles have splayed or shed. The bristles are soft, but unfortunately not very dense. This may not matter to some people, but I find it difficult to apply liner with a somewhat flimsy brush. The brush picks up a nice amount of product, whether its gel liner or a powder shadow, but I find that the product doesn't all transfer on to the eyes. With a little work you can create an opaque line, but, it isn't always the cleanest line. However, I do find that this brush can come in handy when it comes to lining the waterline and tightline. If you have sensitive eyes you probably don't want to use this brush for the tightline or waterline, but it doesn't bother me. XOX ♥
Price: $4.95 * Buy At: Coastal Scents Website HERE The Coastal Scents Classic Buffer Small Synthetic Brush is a buffing brush made from black synthetic bristles. Unlike many buffing brushes, this brush is cut to have a rounder tip, instead of straight across the top. This brush is a very similar shape to the Sigma F05 Small Contour brush. The Coastal Scents Classic Buffer Small Synthetic brush is bigger and more dense, but still a very comparable shape. Coastal Scents has the brushes dimensions listed on their website and are as follows: Bristles : 1.22" (3.1 cm), Ferrule : 1.93" (4.9 cm) & Handle : 4.84" (12.3 cm). The brush has very soft bristles and so far I haven't experienced any bristles splaying or shedding. Coastal Scents says to use this brush to buff and blend foundation, blush or bronzer. I find that the brush does work with liquid or cream foundations and concealers, but since the bristles aren't super dense (like the Real Techniques Expert Face Brush), it takes extra time and pressure to blend in the product. My favorite way to use this brush is with powder blush. Its small shape allows precise application on the cheeks and the bristles pick up just enough product. I find the brush to be a bit large for bronzer, but it may work for other people. XOX ♥
Price: $16 * Buy At: MAC Counters & Stores * Size: 0.1 oz The MAC lipstick in Dreaming Dahlia is a sheer red coral with a lustre finish. Dreaming Dahlia is a part of the limited edition Fantasy of Flowers collection. Dreaming Dahlia's formula is consistent with the other lipsticks I have tried from MAC. It has a smooth texture and glides effortlessly on the lips, and although the color is somewhat sheer, it evenly covers the lips. Since Dreaming Dahlia has a lustre finish, it does have a hint of shimmer, but it is not very noticeable on the lips. I've seen this color look much lighter and more sheer on other people, but on me it's only slightly sheer and is quite bright and pigmented. Dreaming Dahlia is close to being a red, but since it is slightly on the coral side and isn't opaque, it is quite wearable. XOX ♥
Price: $5.49 * Buy At: Target * Size: 0.14 oz / 4 g The Rimmel Moisture Renew Lipstick in Nude Delight is a peachy tan nude lipstick with a creme finish. The Moisture Renew Lipsticks come in a rectangular, shiny purple tube. This lipstick has a smooth formula, but I suggest applying a lip balm prior to application. Nude Delight isn't an opaque color and will look different on everyone depending on their natural lip color. It neutralizes my naturally pink lips and gives it more of a neutral color, but I still wouldn't call this a nude. Nude Delight feels comfortable on the lips and yields about three to four hours of wear. This lipstick does have a distinct scent, that I'm not a huge fan of. To me, it smells like a grandma lipstick, but I do know some people that like the scent. I have two other lip products that are quite similar to Nude Delight. The Rimmel Matte Balm in Complex is quite close in color, but it has a matte finish and is slightly more orange. The Nyx Extra Creamy Round Lipstick in Pumpkin Pie is also similar, but it is a little more pink than Nude Delight. XOX ♥
